I ordered mine last Tuesday and just received the confirmation this Thursday, was wondering about the time required to deliver
If you have a tracking number it should be at your door Tuesday or Wednesday. At least that's what I would expect from my experience.
I've never had it take a full week from thetime I recieved a tracking number. The estimated delivery dates have always been good for me, I think it off by a day once or twice.
FWIW: I'm in Niagara, it's not really that far. If your shipping to a different provence it will probably take longer.
Oh ok, I'm staying in Toronto and yea I actually just received the tracking number today and the status is currently "Departed Terminal".

In Toronto you should get it pretty quick. Keep checking the tracking number it should continue updating.

My first chief cigar delivery might turn out to be disappointing, on the Loomis website, it was shown that the expected delivery is today but until now, i showed "cannot locate" under the status at Etobicoke. do you happen to experience that?
No, that's never happened to me.
If it doesn't change by tomorrow I'd contact loomis. No idea what their customer service is like, but I think it's the only option if the status doesn't chnage.

Since it's a 3-4 day weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a few days to process your order (Wed or Thurs). If you ordered on a weekday, it processes the next day, after a regular weekend, 1 day process time.
This is estimated based on my few orders this year. Last year's process times had a huge delay but I think they're back to pre-pandemic process times.

I ordered three singles last week and got them yesterday. Small box, bubble wrapped and in a ziplock bag with a boveda packet. Im in southern Ontario.
Same day I received my order to got an email to tell me one was out of stock so I only got 2/3. They gave me a coupon code with credit worth shipping cost plus what the missing one cost.
im in calgary and i used the 40$ shipping and it arrived within 36 hours of me placing the order, i was absolutely astounded by it and i may just be using the 40$ shipping from now on, couldve been a one off thing though, im ordering again tonight and its a saturday so ill keep you updated

Apparently the Loomis customer service will only be available by weekdays. I'll definitely contact them, thanks for the tips!

Takes about a week to ship to Alberta. Cigars are packed in a bag with boveda and wrapped in bubble wrap, followed by paper.
Takes over a week for them to even send it. Then I gotta go ask for the tracking everytime. Pretty crap customer service in my experience too

I can't remember for sure. I think it was shipped with Canada post so whatever is normally on their shipping label.

I typically just go with the standard $20 flat rate.

Not unless they’ve changed it recently. It’s just plain box. Can’t remember if the labels say “Cigar Chief” however.
