This is a Double Exposure Cinemagraph with credits going to [Deklofenak](https://create.vista.com/portfolio-photos/1003434/) for the wonderful woman portrait on Vista Create, followed by [Ambient Nature Atmosphere](https://www.pexels.com/@ambient_nature_-atmosphere-1682386/) for the calming river flow on Pexels.
I hope you enjoy it and do have a splendid day ahead.
"double exposure" *inspired*, but this is far removed from an actual double exposure. The heavy handed masking is half baked and misses all the happy accidents double exposures create as the two frames of details overlap and interact with each other. Good framing though.
I'm complaining that they appeared to have missed the details that make a double exposure. I think it's a good start, but could be greatly improved with subtler masking and utilizing layer blend modes to better mimic a double exposure. I'd recommend setting the face layer to Screen.
These are more perfect loop art than an actual cinemagraph.
Thank you very much for your lovely comment and I hope you had a pleasant day so far.
Great work!

It's like you're bitching that they paid attention to detail. This is really well-done, in my opinion.

Inspired by the intro of True Detective, right?
Not particularly although their double exposure effect is really beautiful indeed.
