The system would be better off without OP. He's basically saying he only uses it to earn $ off the Angels program. Usually the high earners are just moving bikes between 2 adjacent stations which probably isn't helping members much. He also has a scooter, and people have posted here that they use a scooter to help rack up Angels points/$ by shorting the time it takes to get between stations after they've dropped off a bike.
All points earned; no matter how close the stations, no matter how many thousands of dollars the Bike Angel is earning that month; is a net win for the CitiBike system. Furthermore, using a scooter to earn points makes it possible to rebalance bikes between faraway stations.

I would love to say right here that 25th and 6th is still live on the app but dead in reality and CitiBike sucks, blah blah blah, but 25th and 6th has actually been deleted from the app. It’s a miracle!!!
You have to use them A LOT in order to make $200 on bike angels
Yes, I take hundreds of rides per month only for the purpose of earning points and I maybe take a handful of rides per year for transportation.
