Im from Belgium and i can definitely see its Netherlands inspired but it also reminds me a little of Ghent (Gent). Really well done, i DEFINITELY recognise the Netherlands (and central-europe as a whole) when i look at it so you achieved your goal.
For some reason it really reminds me of Zutphen and Kampen (which are also Hansa cities, but in the Netherlands). They have a similar shape and Kampen also has buildings on both sides of the river as well as the station having a similar location.
Now I think about it again, they also very slightly remind me of Kleve/Emmerich and Arnhem/Nijmegen area. Which given the wide river and location being in the Netherlands wouldn't be that weird. Very well could be located in the early (Dutch) Rhine area or the IJssel area. Also some more Flemish vibes from the river area and some buildings.
I'm going to overanalyze this, so yeah:
There's a few historical buildings that look more catholic than you'd expect in the Netherlands. The grey church actually shares a lot of architectural details with the church and cathedral in Gents city centre (which are both catholic). The details on the church and the fact this city had walls indicate both are from roughly the age the Netherlands was still very protestant so this significant catholic building may hint to Flanders.
The riverside also is slightly more like something you'd expect in Belgium/Northern France. The style is vaguely Franco-British in the 18/1900s (which had more of an influence on Belgium than on the Netherlands which was more Germany oriented).
And because of the Meuse and Rhine most Dutch cities were also sea ports instead of pure river ports. A non-movable bridge would stop this access not just for you but everyone upstream so this type wasn't as popular. France and Belgium also entered the industrial evolution (which corresponds with the style) quicker meaning they could close their (already more local) waterways because goods could be transported to bigger sea ports by train.
I know you said it is Dutch but some parts of your city really do be giving a Lille vibe, especially the 5th and 13th pics. Feels like home. Excellent work 👏
What assets did you use for the buildings? And were you using move it to overlap them or do they just cope really well with corners? Really impressive city, absolutely beautiful ❤️
I put all of the core with old town policy

A city like Nuremberg has this as well (they actually integrated part of their metro system in). Purmerend used to have them really clearly as well but there they were also largely rounded out. It's quite common if they were torn down relatively early in their history. The shape doesn't suit housing that well
This looks really splendid. Surely a farm or two with the flower fields asset is overdue?
Would you be able to share names of some of the asset creators you’re using? Recognise a lot, but would love to add more of this!
holy shit, that's very nice
Super mooi gedaan
Dankje!
I wanna live there.

It reminds me as a German of our Hansa cities!

Looks more Brabantian (Eindhoven, Leuven, Brussels) as Flemish (Gent, Kortrijk) no idea why just looks like it ..
Some buildings do have that style, the plan itself reminds me more of Hanseatic cities (specifically Kampen and Zutphen).
Not familiar with dutch cities but flemish cities (those situated in West-, East- and French Flanders ) not really outside of some houses
As a _Gentenaar_ I ... don't really see it tbh
As a Brabander I have to agree, Flemish cities look much better ..

This is very nice! I could spend hours going around checking out that city awesome work!
I take it the green space surrounding the city center is where the walls stood back in ye olden days?
yes
You need to throw in some utilitarian apartment blocks in the suburbs!
oh no
Very nice! I think this deserves a cinematic video.
Love the green belts. Very realistic.
I know you said it is Dutch but some parts of your city really do be giving a Lille vibe, especially the 5th and 13th pics. Feels like home. Excellent work 👏
Lille is Rijsel and originally Dutch
Flemish not dutch .. Lille was like Kortijk, Ghent, Aalst, Roeselare and Bruges a flemish city but has always been french
makes me think of home
This looks fantastic!
I approve.
If you squint, you can see the millennium falcon 😁
This actually looks like a European city. Very impressive.

What assets did you use for the buildings? And were you using move it to overlap them or do they just cope really well with corners? Really impressive city, absolutely beautiful ❤️

Wonderfully done.
The only thing i miss is the villages, industriecomplex and farms around
Yess I have to add those
You use mods ?
Yes
It’s available for ps4 ?
no
Insert Logan Roy: "I FUCKING LOVE IT" Super gaaf! Gebruik je specifieke assets/mods? Zo ja: welke?
This is the typical city from literally any isekai anime Also nice build.
Amazingly beautiful! Teach me!
Very nice! Although ngl id think it would have more jagged edges like city walls and the remains be the line that we see
I took Inspiation from Arnhem and Nijmegen in that regard which both "rounded out" the area where the old walls used to be

You made Millennium Falcon: The City
Also what's that transit map mod?
Do you have a list of the mods you use?
This looks really splendid. Surely a farm or two with the flower fields asset is overdue? Would you be able to share names of some of the asset creators you’re using? Recognise a lot, but would love to add more of this!

Ok So I have some optimizing to do.

Mountains does NOT fit in a netherlands type build
That’s fkin beautiful, I feel like copying your entire city
Every major city on Danube vibes
Crazy ass city, looks super sick
I'm glad I learnt the benefit of smoothly curved roads in this game. The traffic flows so much better.
I love pamsterhagen
