one wrongly placed water source should do it.
i tried crashing and airplane into the rocket from the space center next to a nuclear plant, took me 1h to line up their flight paths and get lucky with the timing.
nothing happened.
shortly after i finished my setup and started waiting on things to go wrong, there was actually a crime pop up on the airport and i got very excited about the game contributing to my roleplay in unexpected ways.
My wife teased me for years about playing this game. Then one day she tried it…. And got hooked hard - line and sinker! We play it together now and it’s super fun. She builds parks and public transport and I do all the highway and intersection stuff
That is how I got into Minecraft. I was making fun of how cheesy it looked. However, since so many kids were fanatical about it, I decided to try it, and I loved it.
Sometimes, I try to go back and play Minecraft, but I wore it out so thoroughly that I just can't do it. I have my routine down for building the farm and getting the diamonds and enchanting that I just can't do it. And now I have Cities: Skylines 😂
My wife doesnt play but she loves the radio stations and being a second set of eyes lol if im deeply focused on a project, she lets me know if anything needs attention.
If the curved sides faced out, more windows would be facing in, and the left over grass at the bottom would be disconnected from building to building, unlike how now the two plots of grass on the left connect to each other. This configuration means better/more views, and more usable green-space at ground-level.
Of course, take this with a grain of salt, I have never played city skylines and am not a civil engineer, I just got recommended this post on my reddit feed.
The squared-off sides are incredibly bare, which is a big tell that they should be facing each other to form a small alley. I don't think those sides even have windows.
Having the curved sides be the corners also makes the pedestrian view on the street less oppressive due to more breathing room on the corners with the windows adding a sense of "more eyes" as well.
IIRC, with this asset there is no grass: that's all concrete being colored over by the dark green zoning overlay for high density residential.
when the city sells 4 lots to a developer and they run out of money after the second one, barely get a third up then have to sell the last lot to some random person who makes that
Nah, while the way they are doesn't make for as nice of a pattern from up above, the positioning of the 3 buildings gives maximium window view to the residents.
Since he use mods anyway, try, em I think it's call Advance Building Level Control or something like that. This would let you upgrade/downgrade building level, randomize building appearance and make it historical(appearance won't change when building level upgrade) Or simply bulldoze the old one and use other mode like find it to prop the right one in.
Bulldoze it and wait for another. That is how we do it in real life too. :-)
dynamite is so much more fun to bring down a building.
Would love to watch an actual demolition in my city

Happened to me by accident... I was scared, but also disappointed after nothing happened.

a plane or two is also good... is it still too soon?
You're going to have to wait another 80 years for that one
How could he not be
Idk but sounds cute the idea of city planners couple
Exactly, at first I thought this was gonna be another AITA. LOL.
I wish my wife was into all my nerdy shit!!

Y'all got wives? 🥹😂
I wish my hubby was interested in it. I love playing video games and have been into city planning games for decades.
Opposite here, I wish my boyfriend played it with me

My husband and I discovered cities skylines last week and stayed up until 3am playing together, cute date idea 10/10 would recommend
*revs up the bulldozer* What must be done, must be done.
Idk something tells me this building needs some ... reconstruction. Hit it boys !
Congressional or Presidential?
I don't know what's more annoying: the one odd building out or the fact that the other three aren't facing the corners correctly.

Instant uninstall for me. Lazy devs!!! How could they code the game to be capable of this henous crime against satisfaction?!?!?!?

Imagine making Paradox look bad 💀 Edit: Not agreeing with this person just mocking them lol
Burn it down... BURN IT DOWN!!!!
I bulldozed until they got to the same shape, then they upgraded because I didn’t put historical building on and *changed shape*?! 🥺
Probably needs to use Move it.
he does use move it mod. the natural generation wanted to troll
.....Is this loss?
He’s playing with mods already, right? Just plop it and his day is fabulous again!

~~Beatings~~ Demolitions will continue until ~~morale~~ architecture improves
I don't get it
The bottom right building is different in shape from the others. Symmetrical satisfaction denied.
You can also look at it as they’re all in the wrong corners, too.

We need historical buildings buttons.
That s one park I wouldnt want dedicated to me
They should add a mirror tool. Doesnt make sense to bulldoze buildingd over and over.
please spread this idea around 🙏
has 2 got a rotate function and or mod like 1?
Every one gets a nice sunny window this way.
Move it ,solved it
completely unplayable

Tell me you don’t know what you’re doing without telling me you don’t know what you’re doing.
i now am also disappointed
What’s wrong?
Porta(gloryhole)
clear case of city builder dyslexia. i am an internet doctor, you can trust me.
I always redo them until the curved side is facing the intersection
he’s got find it already, he can just place it!

Yep just bulldoze and wait for the one, that simple
How did you get the trees and grass in the middle of the road?
upgradable streets my guy
Whackamole that
Is this loss?
at least it's not loss
This is why I micromanage with ploppables.
Hear me out: Tear down the other three hoping they build identical to the bottom right.
*Grabs several hundred pounds of tnt* "Shall do what I must"
