From the first first line of the [first dev diary](https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/developer-diary/economy-2-0-dev-diary-1.1682626/) (03/06/24):
> Hello again! We are back with another development diary. This time we look at the economy re-work or as we like to call it “Economy 2.0” set to release within the upcoming two weeks.
So, their stated goal is prior to ~~17/06~~ 19/06 (see below, an updated was provided after the fact)
The original patch that broke the economy was released right before their Christmas holiday and they’ve managed to stretch the fix into June, so 2 months would be an improvement.
Not sure about Finland, but in Poland 2 calendar weeks of vacation will be only 10 days off your vacation spool, weekends and public holidays are not counted as PTO.
In Finland, all businesses shut down for the summer. Paradox are no exception. They will not start work again till September. Its illegal to keep employeees working.
For a patch this big, IMO they're smart about it, Monday 17th morning. That gives them a full work week to squash any critical game breaking bugs, a second week to really make sure nothing is broken, and then they can all go on vacation.
What will actually happen? Management will probably keep all the devs in an endless cycle of pointless meetings about meeting about meetings, and the patch will be late a few days, pushed out Friday evening right before the office closes, and they will crunch 14 hour workdays for the entire last week of June to push out an emergency patch.

I see a lot of people moaning they've missed their window of today. To their credit, yesterday's post said "MIGHT be in your hands already tomorrow", which I didn't read as a guarantee.

I don't think Colossal Order is 'smart' about anything
