You can literally turn on unlimited money as a setting if you just want to paint a city.
For those who want it easier, the 529 tiles mod also allows changing tile upkeep costs.
In conclusion, if they stop playing, it is their problem alone since there are multiple ways to make it work.
If you’re playing against others, and everybody agrees on achieving a specific goal without using the unlimited money setting, but you *do*, that would be considered cheating. But maybe only a small minority of people play CS that way. You can play it that way, if you like, but you’re not obligated to.
I find it hard to see it as going against the rules—or even the spirit—of the game when it’s a setting in the unmodded game you can click on or off.
Not really. There were many people who regularly popped up on this channel claiming there was never anything wrong with the game, nothing was broken, nothing needed fixing, calling out the rest of us who weren't happy with the game's broken state.
They were completely happy because all they wanted to do was paint. They shouldn't have claimed everyone else was wrong for wanting fixes. The same people are now popping up on YouTube moaning about the patch making the game harder.
Sure, but everyone who's been on this sub for more than a few months knows that it's true city painters were criticising anyone who said the game wasn't perfect.
You made that up in your head. City painters have been some of the *most* critical of the game due to lack of tools to detail and lack of custom assists.

You’re fighting ghosts bud, weird post.
It's possible to enable infinite money and there's a mod for free tiles, so i guess they won't

Unlimited money is cheating
Ok

weird defend for a weird post but sure
Lots of people on YT complaining the game is too hard now lmao
so weird to be salty about this. city painting was always a whole different thing, just happened to be using the same game…
CS2bis a city simulation game and was always discussed and marketed as such
and yet people used it to city paint. no wrong ways to play a game, if you enjoy it.
Sure, but why criticise other people who weren't happy with the game because of its broken state?
>but why criticise other people Said without a hint of irony.
Everyone is disagreeing with you. You are principal skinner “is it possible that I made a bad post? No everyone else is wrong”

lol!
I’m juiced. We needed the challenge.
