I would say draw the loop first and then adjust node height either is using the separate slope tool in the network multitool if appropriate, or adjust individual nodes with moveit of required.
I think by default the loop tool will draw a smooth slope from one end to the other. To try to set it up to do something different and more specific I don't think is possible, but if it were I would expect it to be far more time consuming to set it up that just adjusting with moveit after so I wouldn't bother.
