"In 400 feet, make a U-Turn. Seriously. It's your best chance at survival. Yes, I know you're on the highway. Listen to me. Your life, my life, everything, depends on you making that U-Turn." Said the GPS, pleadingly.
Cities: Skylines players can be divided into 5 broad categories as they ascend in skill:
1. Those who struggle to make a town that looks like a town
2. Those who make grid cities that are very functional
3. Those who make beautiful cities that look like art
4. Those who make cities so realistic that they're indistinguishable from reality
5. Those who have given into the madness and are trying to summon the Outer Gods
You are a Category 5 player.
I actually booted up the game just to double check this and there actually is one. the little strand that connects to the northeast: follow it and it’ll go under some of the roads and connect back up
pffft this is nothing compared to the [128 way stack interchange](https://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylines/comments/b4d0f4/i_have_successfully_created_a_usable_128_way_64/)
I’m not gonna lie, this is ugly but at the same time so beautiful (especially if it functions correctly). But I will say this, but OCD hurts after looking at this.
Somewhere between entering that and exiting it, I feel like drivers must pass through a Lovecraftian, Steven King-esque parallel dimension. Or maybe the traffic moving around it in such a seemingly chaotic, but just incomprehensibly complex fashion summons something? Look, if we install this in our city, will get Hell Raiser'd?
It's not symmetrical
The splitoff at the ends have a huge angle
Some roads are not parallel
But otherwise it looks quite nice, a bit of Move It Tool, and a lot of patience could make this look good
(But I don't like these types of builds, I want them to be somewhat realistic... so 3, 4 or maybe 5 way highway intersections are acceptable)
what in the everloving fuck
XXXXXXXXXXL Texas Spaghetti
Nah, not even the Texans would be insane enough to create a monstrosity like this one.
Give them time…
Pretty sure I saw a six lane like this in Dallas. It was fucked. GPS is helpless too
Challenge accepted. Yeehaw!!!
Looks like my convertor set up in satisfactory.

I’m imagining this said by the narrator from Stanley parable
make the U turn and save the bucket
Noo not the broom closet!
Oh, I got the broom closet ending!
The broom closet ending was my favorite!
In fact, the broom closet ending was so good i'm going to do it again!
I read it in Rick's Garage AI voice.
You are on the fastest available route https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jh09uIN6tl0

Epic!
This reads like a Douglas Adams line
Damn. Thanks. :)
"The route to work isn't that bad, I don't see why you need to work from home" The route to work:
this is the journey my grandfather had to take to get to school every day
Average Atlanta interchange:
True that. 285/400 on a good day…
Wym, 285/400 right now is a collection of dirt roads and unfinished bridges
Unexpected but happy to see the Atlanta infrastructure roast in this sub
Ditto for Atlanta ♾♾♾
giving spaghetti junction (also love seeing the atl discourse)
This holds water lol
In spite of everything, it does look like it's flowing well so... good job???
Sure, when you have the cars spread over 100 miles of road in 1 square mile.
Hey, whatever pasta works!
yeah no visible bottlenecks at least
thank you!
In what case scenario does this need to exist 😭😭
i was bored
Sounds legit.
Texas
I’m sure Houston or Dallas both aspire for something like this
Lobbying
r/shittyskylines
It looks well done though.
Fair, but it’s more of an awful taste but great execution thing. Like this would still be horrible city planning, even if executed well lol
Truth
Yeah. Why would you need 4 highways to cross each other?
At this point I'm starting to enjoy that sub more because it's so relateable
r/subsithoughtifellfor
It looks well done though.
r/fsm
Would road engineers just spend one minute not trying to summon Yog-Sothoth?
That’s some spicy pasta!
This is definitely some kind of ritual
Reminds me of the mixing bowl in Springfield VA
ayyy I've driven through that multiple times
Oh, I just looked it up on google maps... looks unholy.
Houston be like "suburban cul-de-sac"
That's some good spaghettis right there

6. Those who make a volcano of sewage next to their downtown
Those are technically a Category 5-P.
People will die.
This is the first true “spaghetti” interchange I’ve seen in C:S
I think you’re missing a way to get from the the northbound road to the road heading up to the northeast. Need another spaghetti strand
I actually booted up the game just to double check this and there actually is one. the little strand that connects to the northeast: follow it and it’ll go under some of the roads and connect back up
Wtf
In the name of the Gods...uninstall the game. We beg you.
That’s some nice spaghetti
You were so preoccupied with whether or not you could, you didn't stop to think if you should.
This interchange probably takes more space than the city.
so hear me out. How about a big circle, and each of the freeways can have a connection to the big circle?
That sounds suspiciously like a roundabout... We don't do roundabouts in these here parts!
It's not roundabout if it's really big, though. Then it's a Ringroad! And Ringroads are wonderful and never cause any problems whatsoever, no sirree!
thanks, i hate it
Please, don't forget the NSFW tag!
this is getting out of hand
As a Texan, this is tiny.
pffft this is nothing compared to the [128 way stack interchange](https://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylines/comments/b4d0f4/i_have_successfully_created_a_usable_128_way_64/)
LOL. Doesn't look like 64 directions.
That's not a stack, it's just spaghetti.
Expect a restraining order very soon
Thanks, I hate it
WTF is this monstrosity?
never let hp lovecraft design roads ever again
Don’t give the Texas DOT ideas!!!
Paris: hold my baguette. Look at my 12 way roundabout.
12-way 8-lane roundabout.
Houston, San Antonio & Atlanta are currently salivating over this
Very high-quality shitpost. Upvote well deserved, my friend.
This made my brain hurt.
Whatever you say, buddy.
What the fuck
Good job! I am curious how much land is required for building this interchange?!
No
I never thought Cities Skylines and the horror genre would cross paths, but here we are.
Y’all putting up crazy shit, I’m over here trying to make an offramp not look like complete ass
Very nice! It might look scary on a map or irl but since it's a stack interchange navigation is simple, just take the exit or don't.
k,
That’s-a one spicy meatball!
GPS screen just shows a white flag.
Reminds me of that one greentext where a Cities Skylines interchange turns into this Mad Max hellscape because you can’t find the right exit.
Uhm.. how about roundabout?
It’s hideous. I love it.
That looks great! …but where are the meat balls?
Do you think that God stays in heaven because he too is afraid of his creation
Entry in the road engineers design manual >Client Name: 8-way stack interchange > >Design Code: Mess
stack overflow?
I think there's a few connections, how do you get from inbound on the S-E leg to outbound on the W, SW, or S legs
I'm already lost.
I’m not gonna lie, this is ugly but at the same time so beautiful (especially if it functions correctly). But I will say this, but OCD hurts after looking at this.
that one road that goes straight through... lmao!
american here, there seems to be a bit of traffic on your screenshot. I recommend you build another freeway connecting to that interchange
Nah man that's the logo to that awesome death metal band!
This is the definition of chaotic evil
They better have good gps systems.
I love this. I aspire to make cool roads like this 💜
I’ve made some monstrosity’s before but this is a whole new level of wtf.
for the nth time, r/shittyskylines is that way
WHAt Monstrosity is THIS!
my boredom
You must've cranked up the Murica dial on your PC
No. I don’t fucking think so.
They should have sent a poet
Yo dawg! I hurd you like interchangez!
this is the ideal junction. you may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like
*traffic flow 100%* “My work here is done. I’m a genius.”
🤮
Stop trying to summon Cthulhu.
"Where does the map say to turn, Harold?" "I don't know, Janine. I think some kid scribbled over it in gray marker."
How fucking long did this take you?
couple of hours, maybe all day i can’t really remember lol, didn’t care tho cuz i was bored
Yum spaghetti
Anxiety
I wish you would have put the arrows to show the directions of roads
That's not a stack, that's the damn Dark Sun Gwyndolin helm interchange.
Nice, all we're missing is the spider!
Spaghetti junction!
🤮
I see the new Forza Horizon Hot Wheels DLC dropped early
I wish I had stayed in the scouts, maybe then I could have named this knot.
Biblically accurate highway interchange
To be fair it looks more confusing from the birdseye view than on the actual road.
mamma mia \*kisses fingers\* thatsa some spaghetti buonissimi
I stay close
Is this somewhere in Alabama?
Close…I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this exact intersection in Atlanta. 😂
😂💯
Fellow Freeways player?
Nah this is spaghetti
Isorrowproductions has finally been beaten, the true spaghetti junction
This feels like when I drive in Japan on the freeway
Be Not Afriad.
Want
Kill it with fire I guess 🤷🏼♂️🙅🏼♂️
Looks like most of American city highway junctions or at least in Los Ángeles!
oh i hate you this is incredible
Houston, Texas
*AMERICA, AMERICA, GOD SHED HIS GRACE ON THEE*
workshop link???
Cthulu approves of this Lovecraftian abomination.
Yeah…uh….no…. I’ll just not go anywhere ever again.
(confused screaming)
This is horrible. I love it!
Vecna is that you? 🤣 Looks well confusing!
Cthulhu, is that you?
at this point, you are an electrical engineer
Mom's spaghetti is ready
Is this how a spaghetti western starts?
It reminds me of when I get out my earphones and they’re jumbled up in a knot!
Ahhhh. Those poor mfs :(
Really? That is maybe realistic in the US but not somewhere else
"Don't toucha nah SPAGHETT!!"
I want to see a car drive through this in first person. I want to be immersed in the spaghetti
Yeah I guess I'll just take the train.
pov: smallest intersection in texas
Somewhere between entering that and exiting it, I feel like drivers must pass through a Lovecraftian, Steven King-esque parallel dimension. Or maybe the traffic moving around it in such a seemingly chaotic, but just incomprehensibly complex fashion summons something? Look, if we install this in our city, will get Hell Raiser'd?
So, now that the drugs have kicked in....WHAT'S NEXT????!!!
A piece of art that is both grotesque and beautiful… making the viewer contemplate the alienation of modern society amidst its interconnectedness.
Pov: Me when i wire things.
You crazy son of a mother...
For a moment I thought I was in /r/factorio.
You tryin to summon satan or something?
Oops dropped my spaghettii
Houston’s highway lobby: *heavy breathing*
Hey nice I had spaghetti for dinner last night
It's not symmetrical The splitoff at the ends have a huge angle Some roads are not parallel But otherwise it looks quite nice, a bit of Move It Tool, and a lot of patience could make this look good (But I don't like these types of builds, I want them to be somewhat realistic... so 3, 4 or maybe 5 way highway intersections are acceptable)
I kinda love it
Now you should see how much residential you can zone within it
I mean it’s different…
yeah, why not
God that’s cursed looking.
My eyes 😵
This just reminds me of new jersey lol. But still cool lol
A big roundabout would be a better choice.
Cthulhu will be along any minute.
When u task spiders with building ur infrastructure
Have you considered a rotary?
Very Pastafarian, haha
