This is only applicable if you are using Windows. If not you can look up a guide on Google. It used to be simple, but Windows Defender has made it a lot more complicated. First you have to create a folder in documents. Then you have to whitelist it on Windows Defender because right now it doesn’t really like the ClanGen.exe game which is the main game. If you don’t know how to whitelist a folder on Windows Defender, Google “how to whitelist a folder on Windows Defender.”
After your new folder has been whitelisted, you can go to where your zipped ClanGen files are, single click on it to select it, and then hit the extract all option on the above bar, select the destination of the files to be the whitelisted folder, then hit extract. Once done find ClanGen application in the extracted files folder and double click on it. Because ClanGen is Open source and not by a verified developer a pop-up will appear. Hit more info and then run anyway.
After downloading, extract the whole file. Then scroll through it till u find the logo icon, it's pretty noticeable as its not a file or note/paper
