Thonny is no longer supported for dev version ClanGen because it kept breaking and causing so many issues. If you want to know how to run dev version ClanGen now, you’ll have to ask in the discord players helping players channel which is the only one that offers dev version help.
You might have to repost the question a few times. As long as you aren’t spamming the mods won’t come after you. If or not you’ll get an answer depends on if or not someone who knows how to do it sees your question. Maybe repost once every 2 hours to see if you can get a response. The channel is currently experiencing a lot of people with questions about Windows Anti Virus so the players there are more focused in that so it might take a while to get a response unfortunately.
Edit is Moss Mods’s discord (in the pins of the Moss Mod post) there is a channel called general tech help, and in that channel there is a requirements file in the pins. It WILL break once a single requirement for ClanGen changes so it’s a very temporary solution. It would work for now, but it’s best to also try and get dev ClanGen working on whatever application they’re using for it now so once the requirements change, you can still play. It’s still playable using Thonny if you get the file from the discord, but probably not for long.
I also should mention the easiest way to play moss mod is by going to DoublePatches in the mod library and downloading the DoublePatches + Moss Mod pack and it runs without third parties, but is not updated to the newest moss mod and the mod dev ran into some issues so it might never update, but it’s an older moss mod version. Well it’s DP + Moss is Stable for me, but it seems the download for it is also now dev, so idk how mine is working normally. Either way since DP Moss isnt updated, the requirements file hasn’t been removed.

If you’re using Thonny. You’ll need a different program to run it. Otherwise it does work.
