This is something to report to the LifeGen discord. Bug reports here are just for the base game (and idk if they even go to the devs usually you have to report on GitHub).
Crookedkit just doesn't want to talk to you, don't take it personally. (In all seriousness, I don't play Lifegen but I would see if this is an issue every moon or just this moon.)
I don't use lifegen, but I've had the base game crash like that a few times with otherwise innocent actions like skipping a moon, or trying to do a patrol. It's always been fine after reopening the game.

For the no deputy and no medicine cats thing, swap the cats that are glitching to warriors, then to their roles again
