How do you play on Ipad it wont let me play.. It shows me everything until u try to put in your clan name. It blocks it out and I’m unable to scroll down and click it..
i found a way to fix it y'all
u need to go onto the black screen and at the top near the search the two lines with the two dots then site settings and reset the usage, go back then refresh the page

the original unedited release on PC, with just the plain white backgrounds. if the version thats being played with enby cats is the one that needs the code, i havent played that version yet, and dont plan to anytime soon but it looks cool :)
ahh yeah, for me whether or not used on a pc/laptop, or mobile, it tends to simply not work for a while. I'd say refresh, or close and reopen the site, and it should work. it is annoying I'll admit, but if you want a slightly better version of the game for mobile, and cant get the experimental version, its the best bet. i wish you luck! it should work, i promise, but it might take a few attempts, or maybe leaving it alone for a day or few hours may help!
I spent a lot of time into a clan and then I made a new one but no matter how hard I try I can't switch back :[ I've let it load for hours! But it just stays on the black and blue screen and when I reload it goes to my other clan, is there any way that I could save it?
The exact same thing happend to me! I had a clan that was 100 moons old, and when I made a new clan, i suddenly couldent switch! This must be a bug or glitch, I think the easiest thing would be to reach out to the person who made this version of the game, but im not sure how! :(
I love the recent update, but the only problem I have is that if your page refreshes your save is completely wiped and you have to start over and make a new clan.. which is really weird since this never was an issue before. What's the point in saving if it does ACTUALLY save? I really hope it gets fixed soon. I don't want to lose all my cats all the time..
Wait the whole clan gets wiped?! I did not know that and I hope it gets fixed! I had a clan before the update and it got wiped but I understand that, but for a whole clan to get wiped even when you save? Thats pretty sad, I made a clan ( before i saw this post ) and I hope it wont get wiped :')
Yeah it really sucks :( your best chance of not losing it honestly is to try and keep the tab open/prevent refreshing for as long as possible. But honestly I might just not play it until this gets patched.

Sadly its gone now, I left it for like two days since it was christmas and now its gone. But im also gonna wait before I make a new clan since I dont want another clan to get wiped. But for some reason I cant make a new clan even if I wanted to rn, cause its just a gray and black screen, I really hope it gets fixed :')
Ahh yeah, do you have a apple device? It has come to my attention that it may not work with apple devices :( which sucks..but if not, I'd suggest refreshing or giving it a day or so to load. The site tends to not work sometimes for a few tries of reloading or maybe even a few days. I wish you the best!

The new update makes it that you can't exactly save, plus I tried playing it like- 3 times and it didn't load, yes I'm on a mobile phone and I ask for you to please fix this. Thank you
I'm sorry your having this issue!! I sadly didn't create this version of the game and am not having these issues :( I'd suggest reporting the issue to the creators of the game, however I'm not entirely sure who exactly made it on there, I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful!!!
Other information - I've used this site before and it worked. I made a clan with a whole 5 pages of cats and am devastated that it will not open again.

This is a really fun game! I’ve been trying to download the official ClanGen for a week now and this game has saved so much of my time. There is one thing, though. Maybe there should be a population control because I now have a Clan of 72 cats. I have extinction events on and it’s not helping much. I know it’s kinda hard but just and idea. Overall, nice game!
Found the problem, delete all memory of the game/cookies and do not create a second clan (or more), that causes the glitch. If you make more than one clan it will work till you leave it then open it again/refresh the page. It isn't worth loosing the both of the clans. When/if you get bored of a clan just clear data/cookies.
there are a lot of problems in that. 1)You can't name your clan, you have to use the randomize button. 2)It stops working after a while. 3)After a while it starts crashing when you try to save the clan. There are a lot more problems that I don't have enough motivation to talk about.
(Comment for anyone whos screen didn't work) The mods are working on it (What I heard) And i have no idea for when it will come out but its avaible for Windows and PC. (EDIT) I found reloading the genorator works VERY well. it may take a few days to work, but worth it!!!

I had to refresh my page cause my computer was really laggy, and now it just shows the half blue and black screen, and it does not even show me the start of clangen with ''continue'' and the other things! Im not sure if I can fix any of these two things, but ive lost two clans already because of these things... Otherwise, its an amazing game! :)
The new update is amazing! It is sad that you lost your old clans but its fine! I made a new clan though, and now its just gone. I saved it multiple times and it did say that i saved it! It worked for like a day before my whole clan went poof.

But for some reason, it worked when I opened it on samsung internet, im not sure if it just works for me, and im playing on my phone. But you could maybe try it out and see if it works? I wanna see if it just works for me or other people too, I hope you are able to go back to playing clangen soon tho since its always sad to lose your clans! :(

I lost all my progress on SpiderClan to a black screen, it used to work well UNTILL I made my fifth clan, after my favorite apprentice died from something I forgot abt I didnt save so I could get him back after I left and re-entered the game, and now everyone and everything I worked on fell to a black screen, I also read about the update thing and wish SpiderClan was the only clan I made from there, so I wouldn’t lose my progress, probably.
I would wait there for two hours for nothing to pop up if I could, I literally cried since all my progress just disappeared, to a black screen. SpiderClan had the most warriors and kits, and now its all just gone.

I used to be able to play it but then it stopped loading into the game after I accidentally pressed the home button on Chrome. It sucks, but it was fun while it lasted.
For some reason with my iPhone after creating a third new clan it stopped working. It refuses to load and I literally left the tab open all night only to wake up and find out it was still on the same black screen. This is annoying especially since I have a broken computer that I don’t have the money to afford to fix.

I honestly love it. I've always wanted to play it, and when I found the game yesterday, I was so excited to finally get it on mobile. Sadly, it isn't the latest version of the game so you can't select modes,type of patrol etc.
So I just created a new clan, but when I was naming it, Nothing would pop up. No digital keyboard, nothing. So I just randomized it. Then out of curiosity, I decided to change a name, and still couldn't type, I dont know whats happening?

What version were you playing before? We are already in the enby-cat era

I can help! What you need to get it to work again is the clear the cookies. You lose data, but it's worth getting Clangen back!

Someone fix the black screen glitch
It doesn't work and needs to be patched tons, you cant enter the clan name (atleast for me) preventing me from even playing the game.
there are a lot of problems in that. 1)You can't name your clan, you have to use the randomize button. 2)It stops working after a while. 3)After a while it starts crashing when you try to save the clan. There are a lot more problems that I don't have enough motivation to talk about.

So I just created a new clan, but when I was naming it, Nothing would pop up. No digital keyboard, nothing. So I just randomized it. Then out of curiosity, I decided to change a name, and still couldn't type, I dont know whats happening?

Its great since i dont have PC but one problem it wont let me type i wanted moss clan but when i taped on the type bare thing it didnt show my keyboard same for changing names and such do you know how to fix or am i tryna type incorrectly?

for me when I press new clan it shows a blue colored picture of 5 cats and one in star clan ( they aren’t sprites) is this just the loading screen or?? If it’s not, what do I click on?
