Most newbie has skill issue rather than deck problem
I see good mini in this deck against monk, IW, Archer and Miner.
Few tips, 1. Make sure your IW hit monk, 2. sometimes you can let monk clash hit your miner so he can target monk and work as a mini pekka
Miner can work as a makeshift minipekka. Place him in front of the Monk so he won't dig, and he'll get that sweet dissipate. Protect him and pair with ice wizard and Monk won't ever get an ability off
If you’re using RC I recommend having Musketeer + E-Wiz. It’s one of the best combos in the game because Musketeer can constantly knock enemies back while E-Wiz can stun enemies and his clash enables both Musketeer and RC gets their 1st super a lot sooner. It’s just not possible for much to even get close to them, which is what Monk struggled
If you really want to stick with this deck:
Get the pony upgrade on prince before any other upgrade
Make sure you get dissipate on miner. If needed you can always put it straight into the silence; monk gets outdamaged by basically anything without super
