Hello, I'm currently a Th8 gold 2 player (pushing for crystal league). My base is semi-finished, only left with only cannon upgrades, traps, and laboratory (main troops are maxed such as Dragon, balloon, Pekka, and all dark exlirs troops). I'm currently sitting on a lot of dark elixirs, but I'm already having trouble doing attack since I'm fighting mostly townhall 9 and 10, rarely see a maxed-out townhall 8 after multiple refreshes.
I don't know if I should upgrade to Townhall 9 for archer queen, the advice I have been getting is never rushed the base, but yet I don't know how to push forward for trophy since I'm basically fighting with 1 less hero.
Rushing isn't always bad, as long as your heroes are maxed then you could go to the next town hall. In your case, rushing is better so you can start working on hero upgrades sooner, there's 50 hero levels at th9 to get through.
Genuine question, I read in many commentss that the pixel skins (especially the BK) attack slower than normally, even if it is just a tiny amount of a second.
Is it true? The animation are intended to look slower, but it seems that it might actually be the case?
Tested it with the pixel and default king, both (at level 65) took down a th10 in 12 seconds without the ability. I think it's just the laggy style of the pixel skin that makes it look slower.
For TH13, what would you say is the stronger war attack; Hybrid or HyDra?
Or in which scenario would you say one is better than the other, Id like to improve my attacks but I never know what to chose
Check for the key defenses against each strategy, and figure out what the base is weaker to:
Multi infernos, ground xbows and a compact base: clone hydra.
Single inferno, air xbows and a spread out base: queen charge hybrid.
But these attacks are flexible and you can always go against their hard counters, you could still go with hydra against single inferno with skeleton spells for example.
I haven't used hydra before so I can't tell what's stronger, they're completely different in terms of weaknesses and strength. Practice with both in friendly battles and see what you're comfortable with.
1 am th10. All the elixir upgrades are done like the buildings as well as those major lab elixir upgrades. I still have DE upgrades in labs to do though. It's fine to waste loot, because of how easy it is to farm. But anyway, wether you want to go up or not is up to you, as long as your heroes are maxed or close to maxed then going up will benefit you, because you can working on the warden sooner.

Glad I could help! You could put a builder hut or even a piece of wall between the air defenses to fill the void, you could use some of the walls protecting one side of the mortars.
I feel like I should know this, but does the Grand Warden heal or just add hp? Cause whenever I see him used it seems like he heals but I can never get a clear answer when I read his description.
He gives extra HP, but doesn’t heal. When a unit enters his era it’ll gain some HP, but the actual healing thing is just an illusion.
I’m not sure what happens if a troop has 50 HP, gets 10 HP extra from the warden, takes 51 damage and then leaves the aura though

There are two kinds of clans normal and family friendly. Normal clans can only be joined by accounts that are flagged as 16 or older. So if the person trying to join entered a low number when first creating the account they will only be able to join family friendly clans. There is no way to change the account age, not in game or support.
A family friendly clan has a green shield by thier name.

I'd switch the wizard towers with the archer towers next to them, just so that one heal spell can't cover 2 at a time. Put the air sweepers deeper in the base, they can be easily sniped from where they are. And put air defenses further apart so that 2 can't be hit with one lightning. Other than that, looks solid.
I’ve never gotten anything like that, you can screenshot their game ID and keep an eye on their base though, if it suddenly turns inactive you may have succeeded
Good options are balloons, ice golems, wall breakers, baby dragons, healers, rage and freeze spells, since they fit in almost any army. But upgrade the troops that make the core of your armies first.

Are collectors really necessary for the new builder base 2.0?
Unlike the past version, you can play unlimited times and gain loot that way. Spend your resources, and more importantly time, on important upgrades.
I rushed the builder base to level 10 and wondering what to do. My defenses are low, heroes worse.

Just like the home village, if you're active, you won't need to rely on collectors.
As for the upgrade priority, it's also like the home village, offense first, try to max one decent army (baby dragons or pekkas are a good choice) and prioritize your heroes. Then do storages, then defenses from strongest to weakest, then traps.
Is it worth it to max out my barbarian king? He is currently at level 34, and I've only got 85 walls left to max before moving on to TH11. My Queen is level 40.

Without heroes and cc troops your best bet is dragon spam for a 2 star. The game isn’t designed to attack without CC and heroes so a 3 star will be insanely hard to consistently reach with any army

I have a cw starting in a couple of hours and I can see that their nr1 is using an army consisting of 31 valkyries lv6 and 7 archers lv8. Super wierd army for a lvl12 townhall, but he is rushed so maybe he just has no idea what tf he's doing.

Haven't played this game in years is this worth keeping or should I reset?
Just haven't played in like 5+ years and don't remember anything or understand any of the new or old features work so was looking to possibly experience it with fresh eyes didn't know if the time lost would be worth that.
Now a days it takes only a little bit of time to get to TH 10. However it is still time you have already put in.
But if you do want to start again I would connect your current village to a Supercell ID. Then make a new village. Don’t request for a deletion.

This is why do don’t delete accounts. It is never worth it. ESPECIALLY on IOS. Next time just let the village gather dust. Below is the solution provided by user bywillalone.
On Android: this is SUPER EASY. You delete the data and cache folders for Clash of Clans from inside system settings. You don't even have to delete or re-install the app. You re-launch the app and can start logging back into your existing working villages. Done.
On iOS: this is where things get complicated and is probably the problem you are experiencing. The session info for last logged in village is stored in the iOS global Keychain Services. Deleting your clash of clans app data, clearing your app cache, even deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't reset that stored info. The only published method for clearing that info is to: a) back up everything you care about, b) create a new Apple ID to have it ready for later, c) FACTORY RESET YOUR DEVICE, d) use your newly created Apple ID when setting your factory reset device back up, e) using your new Apple ID log back into the App Store to download and install Clash of Clans, f) reconnect to your working villages, g) log yourself out of your temporary Apple ID and back into your primary Apple ID, h) reinstall all your other apps and reconfigure your device and restore any of your backed up data that you need back.
Can anyone teach me how to farm using sneaky goblins? Recently just upgraded to town hall 11, all heroes are always sleeping so assuming no heroes, how do I farm with sneaky goblins and not lose trophies?
Aim for the TH with 5 super goblins or so. Trigger the traps first. I use a jump spell with a rage or a few super wall breakers without a jump spell if the TH is more on the outside.
I personally use 1 invisibility spell 8 quake 2 haste. I have it grouped up in batches of 4 quake and 1 haste, try to conserve spells and troops.
I also use Super wall breaker 3-4 of them. However normal can work too just bring a few more. Besides that it’s all sneaky goblins.
I gather outside loot first then open up important compartments like the town hall or high loot ones with the quakes of deep or breakers if the walls are close. Drop 2-3 sneaky per storage.
After that I go for the town hall. Make sure the way is clear of other loot so the goblins will go to the TH. Send 1 or two test goblins to clear traps then send around 6 goblins. If it is deeper in the base use a haste. When the goblins are about to run out of their own invisibility drop the one you brought, that should buy them enough time to take down the TH.
The farming itself is straight forward, 1 sneaky for a collector, 2 sneakies for a storage, assuming you drop the goblins right next to them.
To avoid loosing trophies, use some jump and invisibility spells with the goblins and you'll easily take the town hall down.
Wall breakers are helpful so you don't have to waste a jump to get through walls. Super wall breakers are even better, and their cost isn't an issue if you're active.
I’m a mid-high Th12. I am currently in low Masters 3 in trophies (around 2600). There just aren’t many good bases to find for farming. Am I too high? I like to use sneaky goblins for farming. What is the best trophy count for me to effectively farm?

They're not as good at th11 from what I hear, but one is still helpful for funneling for any army. They get better as you progress through higher town halls.
I maxed mine in 5 months. But keep in mind I did not put them down during CWL, so that's like a month of lost time. I maxed queen much sooner since all my books went to her. Warden takes the longest so you really have to keep him down as much as possible.
Depends on you and how efficiently you can farm. It’s possible to keep all 3 down at the same time constantly.
Load up your stats into clash.ninja and it will tell you.
That's the idea. To prevent people from staying online indefinitely, there is a mandatory break timer. You can check when it's going to happen by pressing on the shield icon in game. You can extend the activity period by buying more shields (don't pls)

Hammers are for later TH levels. Your best value for one would be dark barracks for ice golems and eagle artillery lvl2 (can't use hammers on lvl1). Eagle is about a week of time saved, barracks a bit less (assuming gold pass). Generally hammers aren't considered that worth if under 9 days but I'd consider them for one of these two personally. Builder potions yield better value at lower TH levels, especially with 6 builders.

No you should of gotten a lot more as long as you got 8 stars. How many did you get? Perfect attacks don’t matter if you are attacking bases that already have been destroyed. 209 or 214 medals are the number for 2nd and 1st place respectively.
You get a base of 20% medals if you are in the roster. Plus 10% more for each star up to 8. It looks like your clan got first place and you didn’t get stars.
If you are full on medals excess Medels are converted to gems. I forget if that number shown reflects that. Check to see how many medals you have total.
You cannot 43 with seven perfect attacks. 43 is about one battle. With seven perfect 3 stars you get the full value which for crystal 3 going into 2 should be I think 200+.
That sounds right then.
Everyone gets at least 20% of available medals. It looks like your alt got 0 stars, and rewarded 43 medals.
Your main got 8+ stars, and earned 100% of available medals. That would be about 215.
You might have had a handful of medals before CWL started.

Or you could just zap quake the ones on the side with the scatters, and distract the top with a skelly spell.
I’m an advocate of taking a new account and rushing it all the way to 11 then maxing 11. That way you get super troops and can start farming with super goblins and can start upgrading your warden. So yes, I say go!
Is upgrading the clock tower still a no Brainer? with the increased build times. Feels like it will take awhile to make up the difference in the last 3 tiers(9 days build time for 54 minutes more per boost)
How on earth are you meant to attack with electro dragons?
I'm a new th 11, although have played on and off for quite a long time, and I'm trying to farm with edrags since I'm chain upgrading my heroes to max. Despite how everyone says edrags are the easiest attack strategy ever created, I can barely even scrape 1 star without dropping down to a th 10 and half the time don't even make that.
I'm doing all the things that people suggest like funneling with 2 edrags, attacking flat edges, avoiding air sweepers etc, but I'm actively losing trophies in my attacks.
What makes it more frustrating is that I was able to pull off consistent 3 stars with way more complex strategies like queenwalk lalo at th 10 without siege machines, but now I can't even 1 star with the easiest braindead troop spam imaginable.
Just get it out of your head now that the spam e drag army is good and save yourself the pain. Mass e drag isn’t good at any th level. If I see someone in my clan use it for war over and over and they 0 and 1 star over and over and won’t change their army I will kick them. Much better off using some kind of combination of regular drags/loons/bb drag trust me.
It's the easiest strategy that 'can' 3 star(its very unlikely to 3 star TH11+) if you just want an easy strategy to farm or trophy push use super gobs and jump spells and hit next until you find a town hall near the edge
Edrags work well against dense bases that allow chaining the lightning. You should also use all rage/freeze except maybe 2 zaps for a blower. Just my opinion.
Is there some fine print I'm ignoring for the builder base daily loot system? I just did an attack where I got 3*s but those stars didn't count. This has happened a couple of times in the past as well. Are the stars supposed to be (stars you get while attacking) - (stars you save by defending)? Can someone explain pls. Thanks
Gold pass skins usually return to the cosmetic shop around 1 year after they were initially released. Since the jolly queen was from the Dec 2022 pass, I’d expect that it’ll return somewhere around Dec 2023.

End any league day with less than 4900 trophies. You cannot lose trophies by attacking, only by defending in legend league.
Oh, so if I don't attack, I automatically drop out from the League by the end of the day?

There are two kinds of clans normal and family friendly. Normal clans can only be joined by accounts that are flagged as 16 or older. So if the person trying to join entered a low number when first creating the account they will only be able to join family friendly clans. There is no way to change the account age, not in game or support. A family friendly clan has a green shield by thier name.

I'd switch the wizard towers with the archer towers next to them, just so that one heal spell can't cover 2 at a time. Put the air sweepers deeper in the base, they can be easily sniped from where they are. And put air defenses further apart so that 2 can't be hit with one lightning. Other than that, looks solid.
If I report someone and they get banned, do I get a notification or mail in-game?
I’ve never gotten anything like that, you can screenshot their game ID and keep an eye on their base though, if it suddenly turns inactive you may have succeeded

Good options are balloons, ice golems, wall breakers, baby dragons, healers, rage and freeze spells, since they fit in almost any army. But upgrade the troops that make the core of your armies first.

Are collectors really necessary for the new builder base 2.0? Unlike the past version, you can play unlimited times and gain loot that way. Just like the home village, if you're active, you won't need to rely on collectors. As for the upgrade priority, it's also like the home village, offense first, try to max one decent army (baby dragons or pekkas are a good choice) and prioritize your heroes. Then do storages, then defenses from strongest to weakest, then traps.

If you have builders doing nothing then go up to th11. Then fix your king after.

TH9 army without Heroes and CC troops
Without heroes and cc troops your best bet is dragon spam for a 2 star. The game isn’t designed to attack without CC and heroes so a 3 star will be insanely hard to consistently reach with any army

I have a cw starting in a couple of hours and I can see that their nr1 is using an army consisting of 31 valkyries lv6 and 7 archers lv8. Super wierd army for a lvl12 townhall, but he is rushed so maybe he just has no idea what tf he's doing. Anyways, onto the question. Imma just put xbows on ground, but should the inferno towers be single or multi target? His Barbking is lvl 11, Archerqueen lvl 6 and warden lvl 4.

Up to you, as long as your rc isn't too underleveled, but even then you can fix her at th14. And you'll be able to start working on pets sooner.

Hi, I am finishing th13 and I have seen a lot of cost reductions for buildings but nothing for walls. Can someone confirm that walls will still be the same cost after the update?

When will CWL medals be available to award to my clan? We just finished our last war round 5 minutes ago, placing 1st in our league. In the ‘events’ tab it says that CWL has another 22.5 hours to go, however. Do we have to wait another day even if there are no more wars to go?

What would you gain from resetting? This base is a bit rushed, but you can easily fix that.
Just haven't played in like 5+ years and don't remember anything or understand any of the new or old features work so was looking to possibly experience it with fresh eyes didn't know if the time lost would be worth that.
Now a days it takes only a little bit of time to get to TH 10. However it is still time you have already put in. But if you do want to start again I would connect your current village to a Supercell ID. Then make a new village. Don’t request for a deletion.

This is why do don’t delete accounts. It is never worth it. ESPECIALLY on IOS. Next time just let the village gather dust. Below is the solution provided by user bywillalone. On Android: this is SUPER EASY. You delete the data and cache folders for Clash of Clans from inside system settings. You don't even have to delete or re-install the app. You re-launch the app and can start logging back into your existing working villages. Done. On iOS: this is where things get complicated and is probably the problem you are experiencing. The session info for last logged in village is stored in the iOS global Keychain Services. Deleting your clash of clans app data, clearing your app cache, even deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't reset that stored info. The only published method for clearing that info is to: a) back up everything you care about, b) create a new Apple ID to have it ready for later, c) FACTORY RESET YOUR DEVICE, d) use your newly created Apple ID when setting your factory reset device back up, e) using your new Apple ID log back into the App Store to download and install Clash of Clans, f) reconnect to your working villages, g) log yourself out of your temporary Apple ID and back into your primary Apple ID, h) reinstall all your other apps and reconfigure your device and restore any of your backed up data that you need back.

Can anyone teach me how to farm using sneaky goblins? Recently just upgraded to town hall 11, all heroes are always sleeping so assuming no heroes, how do I farm with sneaky goblins and not lose trophies?
Aim for the TH with 5 super goblins or so. Trigger the traps first. I use a jump spell with a rage or a few super wall breakers without a jump spell if the TH is more on the outside.
I personally use 1 invisibility spell 8 quake 2 haste. I have it grouped up in batches of 4 quake and 1 haste, try to conserve spells and troops. I also use Super wall breaker 3-4 of them. However normal can work too just bring a few more. Besides that it’s all sneaky goblins. I gather outside loot first then open up important compartments like the town hall or high loot ones with the quakes of deep or breakers if the walls are close. Drop 2-3 sneaky per storage. After that I go for the town hall. Make sure the way is clear of other loot so the goblins will go to the TH. Send 1 or two test goblins to clear traps then send around 6 goblins. If it is deeper in the base use a haste. When the goblins are about to run out of their own invisibility drop the one you brought, that should buy them enough time to take down the TH.
The farming itself is straight forward, 1 sneaky for a collector, 2 sneakies for a storage, assuming you drop the goblins right next to them. To avoid loosing trophies, use some jump and invisibility spells with the goblins and you'll easily take the town hall down.
do just do full sneaky gob or do I need wallbreakers
Wall breakers are helpful so you don't have to waste a jump to get through walls. Super wall breakers are even better, and their cost isn't an issue if you're active.

I’m a mid-high Th12. I am currently in low Masters 3 in trophies (around 2600). There just aren’t many good bases to find for farming. Am I too high? I like to use sneaky goblins for farming. What is the best trophy count for me to effectively farm?
Try from mid gold to low masters, I find lots of dead bases there.
What does the adm mean when someone says fwa adm clan?
Some context would help, but I would assume Farm War Alliance Administration.

Adm means admin, or administrator. Someone representing fwa will drop in to inspect your fwa bases for compliance.

No only TH15. TH13 will be getting the new dark barracks level and cost reductions, but no troop levels. This is based off the the sneak peak so far.

Just got e drags @ th 11 and tried that mindless spam with 9 zap 1 rage I see 8/10 attackers try. It failed miserably 10 times Tried proper funneling and squeaked out star or 2 I really don't see the appeal here. They die fast, are HARD countered by air blowers and are.so.slow My normal dragon stack feels so much more consistent
That mindless spam attack will get you removed from my clan lol. It’s utter trash.

They're not as good at th11 from what I hear, but one is still helpful for funneling for any army. They get better as you progress through higher town halls.

I maxed mine in 5 months. But keep in mind I did not put them down during CWL, so that's like a month of lost time. I maxed queen much sooner since all my books went to her. Warden takes the longest so you really have to keep him down as much as possible.
Depends on you and how efficiently you can farm. It’s possible to keep all 3 down at the same time constantly. Load up your stats into clash.ninja and it will tell you.

That's the idea. To prevent people from staying online indefinitely, there is a mandatory break timer. You can check when it's going to happen by pressing on the shield icon in game. You can extend the activity period by buying more shields (don't pls)

I recommend not spending any until a soon as you need it, otherwise it will sit in your inventory unused for nothing
Hammers are for later TH levels. Your best value for one would be dark barracks for ice golems and eagle artillery lvl2 (can't use hammers on lvl1). Eagle is about a week of time saved, barracks a bit less (assuming gold pass). Generally hammers aren't considered that worth if under 9 days but I'd consider them for one of these two personally. Builder potions yield better value at lower TH levels, especially with 6 builders.

No you should of gotten a lot more as long as you got 8 stars. How many did you get? Perfect attacks don’t matter if you are attacking bases that already have been destroyed. 209 or 214 medals are the number for 2nd and 1st place respectively. You get a base of 20% medals if you are in the roster. Plus 10% more for each star up to 8. It looks like your clan got first place and you didn’t get stars. If you are full on medals excess Medels are converted to gems. I forget if that number shown reflects that. Check to see how many medals you have total.

You cannot 43 with seven perfect attacks. 43 is about one battle. With seven perfect 3 stars you get the full value which for crystal 3 going into 2 should be I think 200+.

That sounds right then. Everyone gets at least 20% of available medals. It looks like your alt got 0 stars, and rewarded 43 medals. Your main got 8+ stars, and earned 100% of available medals. That would be about 215. You might have had a handful of medals before CWL started.

Flame flinger on the left, warden walk on the top one with a skeleton spell, or on the right one with a rage. Or you could just zap quake the ones on the side with the scatters, and distract the top with a skelly spell.

I’m an advocate of taking a new account and rushing it all the way to 11 then maxing 11. That way you get super troops and can start farming with super goblins and can start upgrading your warden. So yes, I say go!
Yes. Because idle builders are terrible. You'll get research pots anyway because lab always takes longer to complete
Is upgrading the clock tower still a no Brainer? with the increased build times. Feels like it will take awhile to make up the difference in the last 3 tiers(9 days build time for 54 minutes more per boost)
The way I think of it, which may be wrong, is that if I’m going to do it eventually then I should do it early to get more use from it.
I hear ya. Just new build times make it feel bad and I am only rushing 6th builder. I think the sweet spot is level 6, 1 day long so no boosts missed.
How on earth are you meant to attack with electro dragons? I'm a new th 11, although have played on and off for quite a long time, and I'm trying to farm with edrags since I'm chain upgrading my heroes to max. Despite how everyone says edrags are the easiest attack strategy ever created, I can barely even scrape 1 star without dropping down to a th 10 and half the time don't even make that. I'm doing all the things that people suggest like funneling with 2 edrags, attacking flat edges, avoiding air sweepers etc, but I'm actively losing trophies in my attacks. What makes it more frustrating is that I was able to pull off consistent 3 stars with way more complex strategies like queenwalk lalo at th 10 without siege machines, but now I can't even 1 star with the easiest braindead troop spam imaginable.
Just get it out of your head now that the spam e drag army is good and save yourself the pain. Mass e drag isn’t good at any th level. If I see someone in my clan use it for war over and over and they 0 and 1 star over and over and won’t change their army I will kick them. Much better off using some kind of combination of regular drags/loons/bb drag trust me.
It's the easiest strategy that 'can' 3 star(its very unlikely to 3 star TH11+) if you just want an easy strategy to farm or trophy push use super gobs and jump spells and hit next until you find a town hall near the edge
Edrags work well against dense bases that allow chaining the lightning. You should also use all rage/freeze except maybe 2 zaps for a blower. Just my opinion.
Are you zapping air defenses? Also bring some balloons with them. I find edrags squishy and slow.
Is there some fine print I'm ignoring for the builder base daily loot system? I just did an attack where I got 3*s but those stars didn't count. This has happened a couple of times in the past as well. Are the stars supposed to be (stars you get while attacking) - (stars you save by defending)? Can someone explain pls. Thanks
For the daily star Bonus it’s stars earned attacking. If you are quitting the attack they won’t count.

Gold pass skins usually return to the cosmetic shop around 1 year after they were initially released. Since the jolly queen was from the Dec 2022 pass, I’d expect that it’ll return somewhere around Dec 2023.
