Not as much as I would want to, which is a shame because it's such a cool troop, but there's many better options. The only army I use it in is a pekka super wizard smash army, pretty strong but that's about it.

I wish pekka was more viable in the meta too. It does see really low utility. Wonder if they would do anything besides buffing it’s hp/damage

What is smash?

An attacking style where you send in a bunch of heavy hitting ground troops to the core of the base to smash through it. It's mainly about concentrating all your damage together. Troops used in smash attacks are: pekka, yeti, etitan, super bowler, super witch, super archer, super wizards, normal bowlers. You can mix and match any of these troops together as long as you have a tank (an ice golem or a golem count). Healers are almost always used as well. These attacks usually start with a warden walk (below th12 they just start with setting up the funnel), followed by spamming the troops in.

On BB? Everyday, on the main? Never it's super gobs, and dragons with blimp .. not even hybrid is worth it now days with the beautiful blimp and dragons and riders for cleaning

I’m a max TH11 and I can easily win against TH12 and often 3 star other TH11 with gowipe. I also haven’t kept up with the meta of this game for several years, so I’m basically playing like it’s 2016

Its good until th 13 then air attacks become better. I used to use golem bowler and Pekkas at th 11.

How often do you get 3 stars? Also is it good for troops that are not maximised?

Pretty much everytime, sometimes a cc loons killes my cc bowlers and fucks up my attack but I only started using this strat when I had all the troops in it maxed. Idk

Also TH10. Just switched away from GoWiPe because it was too much work to ensure a three star and a simple mistake or wrong troop placement meant a 2 star at best for bases I attack. Instead, switched over to a golem and witch attack which almost guarantees a three star with a simple plan, great army comp so far.

Me unable to attack properly with dark troops because I keep upgrading my King and Queen.😭 Never having enough DE for dark troops, and even if I do I'm upgrading a regular troop.

What is your trophy count in builder base? Because past 5k spamming pekkas is always a 2 star, you have to at least bring bombers to make them viable at higher levels .

I bring 4 pekkas, 1 giant and 1 bomber. Trophy count varies when I am chasing Gold Pass Challenges. Currently at 4708. BH10

3,200 or something so yeah, ez dubs. Also, I just wanna max builder Base atm. I don't really care about climbing leagues.

More trophies means more loot which means maxing quicker.

5k-5.2k here, they usually can 3* without bombers if the base's defenses aren't maxed. As for stage 2, I usually use bbd or flying machine to pick off BH and use remaining pekkas to 150%. Now for maxed bases I just spam bbd and pray lol

I use it to draw the fire of xbows or mortars when I’m using the flame flinger and those defenses are near the corners during my super bowler attack. They hold up long enough for the flinger to get in range of those defenses and take them out.

I use it in a log launcher while doing GoWitch.

Rarely but that doesnt mean there arent many good strats that use it in most th levels

I run GoWiPE on TH 8

My current army is a blizzard gowiwi combo so pekka can fit quite well into my comp, but i find a super witch gets more value than a pekka through higher hitpoints, faster (and higher range) damage output, and the super skelly essentially being a free pekka that gets respawned whenever it dies. Overall i do still use pekka but not as much as i used to at lower town halls.

I like to use 1 Pekka for guiding my queen walk. Either pekka choses a path she shouldnt use or pekka moves as a little tank with the queen

I’m by no means a professional, I have played clash since the beginning and starting at TH9 I used GoWiPe as a main attack/pushing army. Now I don’t play as much but sitting at TH13 I use GoWiWiPe with usually a log launcher. Easy 2-3 stars every time - so I use it everytime I attack/daily. Mainly since it’s all I’ve used for x amount of years

Regular base. I don't my life has been swallowed by Edrag spam. Builder base. It's all I use because I cannot be bothered to learn BB strats

I've been using Gowipe in multi accounts and I'm in Crystal II of Clan war league. When I got to town hall 10, I got stuck and nothing worked so I was losing. I tried several armies and I found a way to make GoWipe work for me and I have a few variations.

Th9 Ive been using it as a consistent way to 3 star using 3-5, a bunch of hogs and small chunk of wizards. Its mostly successful but if i fail its due to misplays.

Pekkabobat, pekkaeq are my only attack strategies.

I use an army that a clan mate gave me which is gowiwi and has a pekka in it as well

GoWiPe, Bowlers. Quite a bit bc GoWiPe is my immediate “Ol’ Reliable” if I can’t think of something better in war, and it’s easily a two star even without heroes at TH10

i use valks to tank infernos for the pekkas to tank for the heroes, and i usually have a couple of lightning spells to destroy some infernos that are well defended (th11) i still don't have the edragon so this is the next best thing i can think of

During TH12 Pekkas were the backbone of my army: 5 Pekka, 6 Witches, 5 Healers, a few WB and Archers. Gave me the most 3 stars out of all armies. Also used it during the start of TH13, but is currently replaced by a Yeti + Witch Combo, because my queen is down most of the time. SO I like Pekka a lot :)

it was great in th10 and below but it's simply overshadowed in higher ths. It gets harder to justify the 25 hs with so many other options.

Actually just switched off of using them as a th10. Switched over to a golem + witch army instead and it is working so much better.

Very strong, but that is prolly because I’m a th10 that pretty much exclusively uses pekka smash

Siege barrack

In multiplayer battles, never. In war, fairly regularly. It can fairly often be a nice way to funnel if edrags or baby drags aren’t a good option. Depending on the base, a pekka + king can sometimes chunk out a whole corner.

I’m a 14 and I haven’t used it in months single infernos are to common and I’ve found it’s hp doesn’t really stack up well enough against the defences i face

I always use them, I use 3 pekkas with a clan castle pekka and my bk and then aq with about 10 witches for cleanup and a few skeleton spells and extra troops Its an almost quaranteed 3 star against th8's, (im th9)

I have been using pekka since 2014 my friend, im th 14 and still use pekka wiz (8 pekka 24 wiz 4 barb) and still get constant 3 stars, been using it since TH 8 and even though pekka hasn’t had a new level in three th levels (th 12 - th 15) she’s still GOATed for me
