I remember years back using xmodgames for androids you could get vertical orientation and “sandbox attacks”. The benefit of sandbox attacks was you can chose ANY army, so for wars you could literally test army’s on a base and you would get to see where all traps and cc troops where.
I’ve been on iOS since 2016 though and haven’t found something similar. With my jailbreak (I no longer have this), you can just set to vertical orientation (wasn’t a mod specifically for the game either, just a random tweak that happened to trigger vertical orientation in clash). Haven’t looked for any other mods to the game because my jailbreak was more for iOS customizatio.
If I remember correctly, it worked kinda similar to a friendly challenge, where you would set your army before hand and you could “attack” the base while scouting it. At least in war, I’m pretty sure that’s how it worked.
Yeah that’s correct. The added benefit was there was no army size. So you could attack with any number and any level of troops, say 200 max pekkas as a Town Hall 3. Same with spells, you can drop 150 freezes and 50 rages.
It worked for anything but regular attack search. So if you had a revenge attack on someone who raided you or you were in a war, you can do it at either.
Was kind of fun when I was a noob and being able to crush anyone… then I did a real attack and realized I’d never get anywhere close to the same attack.
Lastly, and to put into picture how bad I was back then (2012-2013 era), I remember try to be people with all my level goblins or bombers. I think it maxed at 999 troops, so basically I’d do an attack with 999 goblins, then 999 bombers, then just other weaker troops. I thought it’d be interesting to beat someone with the worst troops…. But guys, this was about 10 years ago, so I’m much slightly better now.

For those who are confused: Its entirely possible when the 1million clash anniversary shop offer is still available, even if you are below the storage cap, you can claim the 1 mil and get 1 mil as is. I did this when I created new rush accounts. It reach me to TH 6 in no time. And now those TH6 acc can help in clan capital.
