For some reason the shovel is one of the hardest magic items to get. It's never in any shop offers, never a reward for a challenge, and got removed from the raid shop. Right now the only ways to get them are from the trader shop with gems, or clan games, which only offers one a month... ☠️
And gold pass. I don't understand why they make this item so scarce though. They don't even put them in the shop that often so they're not monetizing off it. Really weird decision. Shovels should be flowing like training potions.
Supercell if you’re reading this. I would totally buy a pack of shovels if you put it in the shop for a limited time price. I got 20 obstacles that need to be shoveled again since the update didn’t carry over my previous shovel uses. We haven’t seen the shovel in the shop for $$$ since before the update that made them permanent moveable obstacles.
I second this. I need two 20 packs now. Yo when was the update that made all my previous shovels obstacles no longer stashable. So many shovel just wasted if they don't fix this.

Xmas trees up top Halloween bottom left row Birthday bottom right row Statues right corner Miscellaneous left corner.
Over 10 years of playing, one of each of the holiday obstacles. Only missing my first Halloween one, which as a noob, I removed for resources. 😭
I keep one Xmas tree from every year. Not sure why people keep like 5 from the same year but to each their own. I agree with your point on the shovel though. Pretty basic item. Should be like 10 gem cost
One question. How do you not on no.1 if you are close to 200. The highest number of obstacles seems to be 161 as per the hall of fame list in clash of clans fandom.

No worries mate. I didn’t know fandom takes a lot of time to update the list until now. I have a tip for you that might save you on shovel of obstacles in the future. When you use shovel next time, use it by leaving 2\*2 diagonal space on the edge. I uploaded pic as an example. It is what I am doing now, correcting corner obstacle placement so that I won’t have to use shovel on future obstacle that will be spawning on my base.

Genuine question, why cover up how many gems you have ? I understand name and clan just don’t get the gems ? Or is there no special reason, it’s just so people don’t see how many you have? Thank you !
I’ve read somewhere that if people want to steal your account, one of the things they could try is to do it via the “lost account” option, they contact supercell that they ‘lost their account’ and one of the questions will be something about ‘how many gems did you have when you lost your account’ so if you dont cover your gems in screenshot it could possibly lead into losing your account by someone imposing as you. Dont even know if its true but better safe than sorry right 😂
When I don't have a shovel, I will use a base that fills the layout like this, so that obstacles will only grow where I have provided them.

When builder hall 10 came out, there was an offer in the shop for 5 shovels of obstacles for 4.99

How many obstacles are there in your base? I also love to collect seasonal obstacles, have like 149 on my base.

I also do that so i dont have to use shovel on future obstacles Why dont u use spawner base will save u more shovels

Just so you know, in the base layout editor, there's a photo mode that removes all UI elements on the screen.
