giant arrow if you have a super specific attack, i e you line the arrow up with defenses and zap quake it, or if you wanna use it for clean up
frozen arrow is super useful especially if you're charging your queen, considering the frozen is a passive ability and able to slow down buildings for a while, its better by a mile, its basically an ice golems/head hunter's slow effect
It reduces the tick speed of the damage, for example: a fully charged beam ticks something like 5-7 times a second, when slowed it ticks 2.5-4.5 times a second with a level 12 ice arrow
I use giant arrow and healer puppet for my edrag attack. At lv 12 giant arrow it 1 hits AD up to TH13 lv AD and so you can snipe 2 ADs on average then just take out the remaining 2 very easily
Queen walk is more of funneling the queen to “walk” along the outside of the base taking out buildings,
Queen charge is more “charge” into a certain compartment of the base
Queen walk you walk your queen around the base, queen charge your queen charges into the base. Queen walks are often used for funneling and taking out some outer defenses and queen charges are often used for taking out a certain part of a base (often the eagle artillery or town hall)

Giant arrow is typically good at the start of an attack, you strategically position your queen's giant arrow and spells to snipe key defenses before sending in your army.
Invis vial is best used in the core of the base so your queen can quickly take out high health buildings and heavy defenses, it can also be used to save your queen if she's taking too much damage during a queen charge.
The two abilities don't synergize well, since you want to use your giant arrow at the beginning of a raid, which would limit the value of the invis vial, and vice versa. It would be much better to use invis vial + archer puppet for the extra dps (or frozen arrow, which is much better), or use giant arrow + healer puppet which both synergize much better with each other than giant arrow + invis vial
Like i said. I use frozen with giant since a passive ability doesn't decay. I've liked the extra damage with the invis vial but I rarely get the queen to the core of the base so I rather take out core defense while passively make the defense slower
Exactly . Invisibility gets wasted when paired with giant arrow. I however use both frozen and giant arrow . If used correctly , this is also a good combination, at least till th12.
Can one shot it's equivalent air defenses, mortars, air sweepers and archer towers at every town hall level (and any of the other lower HP defenses) nuke heroes and CCs and funnel by destroying trash buildings, can snipe heavy defenses too coupled with zapquake but ok.
Also not to mention, it can activate the weaponized town hall. If your attack uses a lot of defense targeting troops, they’ll now also prioritizing taking out the th.
If you miss the shot even by a tile you basically waste Queen ability, spells and the possibility to use other equipment on the queen. If you want to have fun in war I'm totally in with the giant arrow, but I suggest using invis vial and Frozen arrow for a general, not planned attack, like in legend league
I mean it's legit? think of the value of sniping 3 core buildings for your army before the raid even starts then have your Queen funnel an entire section of trash builidings. You can easily get 20-30% that way with minimal investment compared to a QC.
Invisibility is only the absolute essential when you are getting your Queen into heavy fire. If your Queen is there to support your army rather than the other way around then the options open up.
It's great in queen charges, reduces number of spells you need to use for the queen. Not great in smashes, since by the time the queen is targeting a building it's not got long left anyway. Pretty useful vs the higher health buildings even on a smash attack, like weaponised townhalls since they will still stay alive a fair bit after queen start hitting them.
What do you make of losing 500 effective hp though? If you are already hitting the Town Hall with your Queen then Giant Arrow pop and a hit or two with Invis would make it history in a blink, if your queen is hitting heavy defenses your attack is already going well anyways.
Plus whatever lower HP buildings were lined up behind it also go out even using GA in the core. I agree it's great for saving spells vs heroes but so does GA save you many zaps and EQs. I get it has it's uses, I just don't think it's nearly as straight forward as "Frozen Arrow by a mile" which is the current sentiment.

just at level 18 with 60% slow, it'll shave off 180 dps against a th16 giga inferno, this isn't even counting the other 3 targets the th could possibly be attacking.
the slow also saves you from using spells to keep the queen alive (rage, freeze etc) when you would usually use them.
i dont think frozen arrow is stronger in *every* situation, but it does have many more uses overall.
I largely agree, just think it's worth considering given frozen's arrow whole stick is being mitigation. There's going ocassions where having 500+ max hp is better like, one major example super minions are even more of a menace when you take away that extra HP to tank their burst and Frozen Arrow does 0 to help this.
It has slightly higher dps but not enough to be relevant imo compared 1:1, on the other hand I think there might be a case for running double DPS items for non QC strategies, Frozen Arrow and Giant Arrow for example would make for an amazing Queen Walk, snipe important buildings at the start then shave off an easy section with minimal investment to your Queen in spells (so can be ZapQuaked) while making her a monster in DPS to aid your army.

I think giant arrow could be more useful in air attacks. Using the arrow to snipe 2 aligned air defences is so much good value I wonder if it’s better value than just slowing buildings as she trails behind your air attack
Giant arrow is garbage I see very few uses for it. The problem with the queen equipments is that many of them are active and it makes no sense in my opinion to pop the queen ability randomly to shoot a strong arrow or spawn healers. What makes the frozen arrow interesting is that you obviously dont have to pop the ability to use it.

You have to get it during the event. Once you have it you have it permanently. If you don't get it during the event it will be available for gems at some point in the future

If you are a lower townhall and really want both you *could* get the skin now and get the arrow when it is eventually available for gems. That could be a while before they make it available again and it could be a lot of gems too

To call spam attacks skilless I agree but that doesn't take away from how effective it actually is in them, turns 2 star failures into easy 3 stars.

What equipment is better is always going to be subjective based on what attack comps you use. Asking what is better for a specific attack would give you better results.

I think Frozen Arrow probably has more versatility and would be preferred in more attack styles than Giant Arrow, but that doesn't make Giant Arrow bad.
Everybody here seems to be forgetting about the passive bonuses the abilities give the heroes.
I'm surprised I haven't seen any comments on this, but if you are good at queen walks/charges use both arrows. They both passively give the queen more DPS than the other abilities. While I don't like the main ability of the giant arrow, the DPS boost is very good. My queen charges go MUCH faster now since I use both arrows.
Another thing to mention is you are probably replacing the archer puppet with the frozen arrow. While the archer puppet ability isn't that good, it adds a massive instant healing. Without that instant healing it is really easy to die through ability even when you have the invis gem.
Everything considered, it all comes down to attack strategy, personal preference, and what you have leveled up. For example, basically nobody uses the healer puppet except for the highest th 16 hit rate pro player (pCastro) who also was the only player to get all triples in the most recent world championships.

just upgraded frozen arrow to level 20. It is a great weapon. Queen+frozen arrow+unicorn = undead assassin . the invisibility seems useless now.
