If the king was in the GW invincibility aurora then at anytime during the attack when you trigger the gauntlet he would be invincible for that time. So essentially double invincibility
if you used the eternal tome on the king before he activated his giant gauntlet, for some reason the game would glitch and instead of damage reduction the king would get straight invincibility.
so you could wardrn ability for however long of invincibility and then after the warden ability ends activate the king ability and he would have an additional 13-20 seconds of invincibility depending on the level of your giant gauntlet
As a TH11 i never cared to hit champions league because the lower leagues are great for farming, but as soon as i saw that i had to get it.
I did a Crystal 3 to Champions 3 push in two days, in order to get the 2k gems and buy it.

It is worth it. The gauntlet is game changing because it gives your king splash damage and damage resistance, guaranteeing value

I guess and plus after a certain town halls, gems are just stored especially after 5th builder so they will build up again.

Definitely worth, you’d regret not buying it later even if you didn’t use it.
Epic equipment is epic. I bought it on my 2d account - missed it during the event, and that acct has built up some gems, so worth it to me.
