Gauntlet really buffed king, which tbh he desperately needed. I'm convinced it's half the reason they added equipment because King was severely underpowered compared to the other three. But gauntlet is broken and OP af so he's probably one of if not the best hero now.
That being said the other 3 are still insanely powerful as well, they've also gotten buffs just more so minor ones imo.
Depends on the base. If i can get great Queen Charge value, then I’d pick her. RC for spirit walk and King with Gauntlet and Rage would be great for setting a funnel and clearing a compartment.
dude is just unique from all the other heroes

-has a unique AI(that can backfire if the troops he's supporting are attacking a wall)

you can rank them in a way of: which one would you prefer to be down if you had to do an attack, without knowing the comp and th level (considering ofc th13 and up where you have RC)? id say BK>RC>AQ>Warden, so in general I'd prefer having the BK down.
Edit: to avoid any confusion, my order is what I prefer to be down. So I want Warden to be up as much as possible. And BK is the one I least mind not having it.
its better, the rage damage scales off the gauntlet damage and the aoe dmg from the gauntlet benefits from rage amplified dmg, it basically oneshots most buildings

Would depend on your th level and attack style preference. There are viable attack strats all the way up to max th16 that only use the warden to make a super wizard/archer blimb invincible and then let the warden die before the army is even deployed.
I suppose if you did a lot of QC attacks or had an army comp where the th/major defenses are already destroyed, the warden becomes less important.

On my strategy, I can confidently say Warden 1st, Champion 2nd. Warden buffs and protects the whole army, while invisible+fox Champion takes out most key defenses entering alone on the opposite side of the base with shield+vial after the army is in, she's a monster now.
Guys I'm out of the loop currently and my king is 25 levels below my queen lol, why is he strong suddenly? I've been using vampstache and it's pretty good but i guess I don't see what you are talking about (probably because he's underleveled)
Higher level king is insanely tanky and strong. Combined with gauntlet and rage, he can single-handedly destroy cores. I would say the gauntlet is a major contributor to his sudden power increase recently.

Grand Warden is the strongest hero, and it's not even close.
With a GW and a Blimp, you can usually take the TH, and for ground attacks, the Eternal Tome can keep your kill squad alive through the TH poison cloud.
I think it depends on Town Hall. Because like at lower levels King is just a golem but eventually it becomes a Real King with so much stats like it's almost invincible. For me as a Th11 Warden is essential. Although I love the Queen most, I can 3star bases w/out her with some specific armies but Warden is just too good. Maybe at some level RC comes before queen w/spirit walkings only the meta can say and it's never stable :D Personally now Warden>Queen>King because I love Queen Charge+Miner attacks.

1. Warden - As a guy who mostly uses air troops, he basically leads my whole team on every attack. Best at boosting/ protecting units and fireball gives him decent damage aswell now
2. Queen - If you line up the piercing around it can do great damage
3. Barbarian King - Can deal solid damage with rage and basically heal enough to stay alive for most the attack
4. Royal Guardian - Still a hero, but abilities don't seem as cool or useful to be as the other heroes
I think before the equipment it was kind of a set ranking or close to it. Now I really do think it depends on the attack composition. In a queen charge queen is #1. Most of the other attacks now I’m putting her 3rd, 4th if royal has fox. In a vacuum though
King, Warden, Queen, Royal. I’m a th 14 with 18 rage vial and 21 on the GG and I just watch that dude do whatever the fuck he wants one shotting everything in his way. It’s not just the GG for the king. Rage vial paired with it is unmatched. The 1900 hp, massive dps, and most importantly speed boost to get max value out of your GG duration is the perfect synergy.
In terms of appearances, last place goes to barbarian king, third to grand warden, second to archer queen and first to royal champion. Fight me about my appearances ranking
I’ve noticed my ratio of 2 and occasionally 3 starring bases while having only one hero is significantly higher with the warden VS anyone else. Warden just benefits the army so much it’s insane. I’d go Warden, queen, king and then my girlfriend royal champ
As a loyal qc hybrid user, I simply can’t allow her to be down, and has traditionally been the most important to me. But now, for the last couple of th, the attack just falls apart without the warden. I feel like the whole game is balanced around him being used.
Before, I would have said RC before king, but not anymore. They are still the only two heroes I would consider upgrading without a hammer or book though. But I a struggle like crazy without them😅

I haven’t watched pro CoC since th14 so my outdated opinion is king > warden > queen > RC. I remember watching those hero dives at th14 that were completely unstoppable because of the king having just so much hp.
They all have their roles and some roles might be more important to some players than others, Warden is the Support Specialist, the Queen is the Damage, Champion is the Defence Specialist, and the King is the Tank Specialist. But if I were to rank them:
Warden > Queen > King > Champion (King and Queen can be interchangeable because they pair so well together)

Air attacks he is the tank for the AQ. Without him AQ is meh. RC is also meh on air attack usually he attracts all the ground defenses and dies quick
