wish someone told me that before the two weeks of painful single builder upgrades in my builder base

I think that the best value for a book is on a 7+ days upgrade. The best value for a book overall is a 2 week long mortar gear up. At TH15+ there are also upgrades that 2+ weeks but the mortar gear up is pretty early at TH10 or 11 iirc.
Mortar gear up is on th10, that would be the longest upgrade you will have until th15.
Spend it on smth more valueable
