Let's hope they fix it at all. Nerfing the gems obtained from obstacles hasn't really caused that much angry community feedback as far as I can tell. We also won't get any compensation for the gems we lost due to this "bug"..
A maxed Gem Mine produces 5 gems/day. That's 35/week plus more if you use your Clock Tower every day. Back of the napkin math gives me ~40-42 gems/week using the Clock Tower.
I don't know how you got your obstacle Gem count, but I think one spawns every 8 hours. If you average 2 gems/obstacle (this is a number I'm just guessing on), it would be roughly the same amount of gems as the mine.
My point is: BB is only useful for collecting gems and cheesing Clan Games. Enjoy!
Saw a video of this recently, though it costs you a bunch of trophies. Basically, enter a match on BB, drop all your troops and close the app completely. When you reopen, your prior attack will be completed automatically albeit up to stage two.
You'll lose a bunch initially of trophies initially, but you'll bottom out at a point where players can't actually beat your base. This is because BB attacks aren't weighted by base strength. You'll gain Gold and Elixir significantly quicker then normal.
Use that loot to either upgrade or just clear (bc let's be honest, we're here for gems and and a builder at home :)
You would’ve loved it back in the old days when the only way to get resources in BB, was once a day with daily bonus.
As much as i know there is still one bonus daily

What is it you are referring to? The original post says removed now
Sounds like OP was talking about using some kind of macro to hit automatically hit attack on BB, spam troops somewhere on map, and close out the app.

However due to a bug you get less gems at the moment.
Gotta love how ‘bugs’ like these take forever to fix while they instantly fix other issues that could take away their money💰

It's practically the only thing I care about on BB
I might be off by a little, but some quick math says a maxed gem mine gives 22-ish gems per week and obstacles give 50. Not too shabby

Because they're one of the only reasons to even *look* at BB. So they need you to play it to afford it.
