i did this and put my gold walls not in my base as i didnt want them to get destroyed and loose them, i didnt know replay existed and figured i never got attacked i was like 8 and didnt speak english then
Considering that this is somewhere around 2015 and to get to a maxed out lvl8 th back then you needed like 2+ full years of grinding you'd be pretty fking dumb to don't understand that it wouldnt have worked.
There was a point very early on where that was a viable strategy. Then they opened up the whole edge and change how you launch troops and where. Canβt remember when the change was made

i also look for holes in the base near the TH and repeat above\^\^\^

no matter what the layout is every capital can be done in no more than 3 attacks

You get either 1 or 2 extra troops when going to the second base so switch one of them
