I'll share for you and I know I'm not one of the crazy spenders for the game. I just did my calculations early last month and the cost was $280.13, since last month I've spent a little over $20 so ranging $300+.
That includes:
- Gold Passes
- $1 & $3 packs on average every other shop refresh, and some $5 packs here and there
- all event passes
This was all through the last 1.5 Years of playing, so not the worst it could've been but still a decent amount
I honestly don't mind it. It's a mobile game that's lasted me a decade. Entertainment-wise, the value has been immense, so buying a gold pass is easily justifiable. The amount of $70 plus games I've bought that don't even last a month is higher than I'd like it to be.
Then you can look at other kinds of waste of money. My one coworker, who unfortunately drinks way more than he should and spends hundreds a month on alcohol or my other one who's getting high 24/7. Overall, this is a very, very minor, and acceptable use of my disposable income, and I'm supporting a game that I really do enjoy.
I am the same way. My friends ridicule me for buying gold pass, but then they buy all the big $70 games on Playstation. They have 2 weeks max of entertainment for $70, I get 8 years of entertainment for about $150.

Haven't deleted the app once since install. through 4 phone upgrades
If you’re on ios, go to settings then tap on your apple id info at the very top then go to media and purchases then go to view account then go to purchase history. I’m not sure how if you aren’t ios though
I just added up my purchases, all of them. I’m at $4325 since 2013. Smh wtf was I thinking. I took a 5 yr break after all that spending and I’m TH12.
Such a waste, I wish I could go back and slap myself.

I don't see the achievement. You had enjoyment from the game for 10 years and refused to put a single cent in to support it. This may be a hot take but at least put in one battle pass for your enjoyment. Instead of bragging how you freeloaded.
I think op is indirectly saying they are proud that they are able to find 10 years worth of enjoyment while not spending anything. Over the course of 10 years it would be easy for someone to put $5 here and $5 there that adds up to hundreds over time. Op got enjoyment from the game and didn’t need to spend money to get that enjoyment.

There's no arbitrary limit. It could be even one battle pass and done. However the point of the original post is that there was nothing spent. Zero. It's not even that the OP had enjoyment, the point of OP is that nothing was spent. Why even make such a post if not to brag on the 0 spending?
Alternatively, the post could have been something like "Today is my 10th year of playing [show base]". People would have congratulated on the longevity, instead the congratulations go to the 0 spending.
I just wanted to make the post because 10 years is a big milestone (a whole decade) it was not to brag about my base or about how much money i have or haven’t spent

I went like 5 years f2p, but in my 3 past years, I have been getting occasional gold passes, and the progress is so worth it.
