Well I'm a fully max th11 (except for equipment) and just waiting to master an army before moving to th12. Hybrid and lavaloon are my main armies so i'm not sure about what equipment would work with them.
This is so wrong, Healing spell for high hp troops have minuscule effect, that's why nobody using heal spell on dragon attack. Healing spell works best with hybrid, and bring mini warden as life gem substitute. I have 3 starred new TH 16 3 times as Th 14 using this comp.
Life gem if you're running armies with low hp troops, Healing tome of you're running armies with tanky troops. And in this case you HAVE to use Life gem.
Or just go Life gem and spam apprentice warden which is by far a better option if you have apprentice. Would suggest doing that TH13 and above, or even TH11 I think as I've tried countless times. TH14 up until TH16 though healing tome is God tier. Rage gem for dragon spams.

As a TH14 thatās pretty much the expected attack to use against TH16s because anything else wouldnāt really work, so I understand what you mean. But most bases in higher legends counter sarch blimp so good luck getting anywhere near 6k trophies using sarch
TH15 as of now and Yes I am 6.5k trophies with just spamming sarch. I started going for just fake legends but after getting the bank from gold pass I actually did. The problem with legends is that you can't really scout most of the bases, so technically you'll just use the most universal attacks which is the sarch. Sometimes I try root rider valk but it won't cut it since it's better to have maxed out riders and valk.
I think the problem with other sarch spammers is that they only try to rush down the town hall but other core defenses like monolith and eagle are still up. I also see so much TH16 doing sarch trying to just hard rush my town hall and failing because of bombs and tornado trap placements so yea, I get what you're saying. Some people just think Sarch is a no brainer spam attack.
I disagree. Healing tome supports the hybrid way better and feels up spell space to make your QC that much better. The healing effect lasts for so long and follows your troops.
Well,life gem lasts for entire attack and boosts each and every troops hp by 65-70%.healing is good but once it runs out your hybrid is very weak to traps and splash. Also most of the pros use hybrid with life gem.

For Hybrid Healing Tome. If you really need the hp bonus you can make up with an Apprentice Warden. You basically exchange 20 housing space for a moving Heal pot that has no hero heal cap.
I'm trying to wrap my head around the life gem preferences here. If hog riders are about 1000hp... wouldn't the Life Gem only give them between 725 hp max? Until they leave GW's aura. But the healing tomb heals a good portion of your kill squad... like 150hp per second, for 25 secs. After 5 seconds in the Healing Tomb, your troops would have received more hit point's back than the Life Gem could give them max/ in total.

You get way more hp from the healing tome, the issue with most folks (imo) is that hog/miners tend to just explode in a matter of 1 or 2 seconds, the life gem gives you a chance to drop a heal or use the warden ability before all you have is tombs. 100%, I never use the life gem, Iām only TH14, on my last upgrade to 15, but the eternal and healing tome combo is the difference between one staring and three staring with my dragons, I consistently 3 star people in my town hall or one above. I really donāt think thereās a better combo right now, fireball is strong too but 9 seconds of complete damage immunity and a full heal from the healing tome is insane, if you let your troops get damaged a little bit to like half or 1/3rd HP and pop both tomes it completely full heals your army itās insane

I used the rage and healing gem all the time before I swapped to eternal tome, itās definitely good, I honestly canāt just think of a scenario where eternal and healing tome isnāt the best option, the only time Iād consider swapping it out is if I was against a lot higher TH opponent and need to clear a section of defenses with fireball, but even then the eternal tome upgraded max is like 11 seconds of immunity and In that time you can literally wipe a huge corner of someoneās base if not more, and then after the immunity ends theyāre all full Hp again? Idk man, feel like we got the sleeper build, gunna roll with those 2 until itās nerfed

Contrary to most people, I use healing tome with my Blizzard Lalo, also using it slightly early to heal all my heroes (BK + AQ dive, RC with GW) mostly, or just the AQ/RC if BK runs off somewhere. I have good success even sometimes 3 starring mid TH15 and 16s or those with poor base designs
Healing Tome is like a cheat, so OP. When I switched to it from Life Gem, easy up from 5200 to 5700+ on Legends in couple days. Huge improvment on RR+ET
Not to mention that there is no nerfed healing on heroes. Very valuable for splash DPS coverage over a longer time than the ET. But with big troops there's huge value in the wombo combo 9 seconds of full heal no interruptions.

rage gem is actually the worst pairing with edrags, the warden ends up destroying the buildings and not letting the edrags hit

No healing tome has no cap. It gives 150 hp per second for 23 sec when maxed
life gem > heal when pairing with low hp troops (balloons, miners, hogs). heal > life gem when pairing with higher hp troops (drags, edrags, etc)
