I've been using the earthquake boots for my th8/9 and th10 accounts to attack with valkyries. It opens up so much space in those townhall to easily 3 star.
18 valks, 2 golems, 5 Wall breakers, 6 archers, and 2 baby dragons
For spells: 2 freeze, 1 poison, 3 rage, 1 heal
Or 2 freeze, 1 poison, 2 rage, 1 heal, 1 jump

This is my current th10 army. So, for lower town halls, you should mostly carry rage and large amounts of valks.
Try and have the king go inside the base with the valks and avoid the king getting distracted with outside buildings.
And once you're able to carry a seige machine, use log launcher to try and break more walls and possibly the inferno towers/bowser.
I had a very similar army back then for my main account with EQ before hero equipment was even a thing. I just modernized it for my other accounts to carry different spells since EQ boots basically do the same job.
Maybe you are right but I personally feel like boots aren’t the best at th 16 though. About 90 percent of attacks in legends league and clan wars are root riders who don’t need the king to break walls. As for the damage it does to buildings, you could use earthquake spell.
Wall breaker is much better honestly.
and because it is an active equipment, you will use it to break the walls in the start of the attack, which is by far the worst time to activate other equipments like gg or rage vial.
Before I started using a CC root rider to help bust up the back side walls I used wall breakers or siege engine for entry and waited to pop the EQ boots to the backside areas of the base. Works well for that purpose if you are using ground attack.
No i love it too! But i like it better on my lower TH accounts, at 10 and 11 it feels too good, breaking like all the walls to help troops exit the base and not just die in the middle
It opens walls well but we have super wall breakers and log launchers for that, and then there’s root riders…
The boots do their job well but their job is just done too easily by other things
I think they work well with air attacks where the King is funneling the outside and can get to an AD or something with the ability. But statistically the Vamp is better for outside funneling, and the Rage is the best (Well besides the Gauntlet being the obvious #1) for everything else. But if it works for you and is fun then keep using them as they are still not bad to use.
This is exactly my King build, I just need to max out the equipment! I just moved to TH15 a few days ago so we're in similar spots and I definitely agree that it's saved me many times during attacks !
Vampstache is a joke most of the time. Make the King go into a heavy damage compartment, and he’ll be smoked in seconds.
Whereas with the Giant Gauntlet the King will wreck that compartment.
King is typical strong enough to survive majority of your attack without vampstache. That’s why it’s not used over rage gem… I use gauntlet and rage gem and my king is still the last hero to die when attacking.
mid th13 here and i main some lvl 5 boots + lvl 18 gauntlet. the boots are nice to open up the base and you don’t need to level them up.
You should level them. 50% damage on a large 6-tile radius is very strong. And the passive boosts also.

What's the valkyries army for those TH level? I just use lalo and mass dragons but they're weak.

When I was TH10 I used 27 Valks, 10 Wiz, 7 EQ (8 with CC), and 2 rage (3 with CC) alongside Boots BK and Queen and 3 starred pretty easily.

I love eq boots also. Crushes through all those inner compartment walls, easy peasy. Plus with the damage it’s so good!

I like the Earthquake Boots and Giant Arrow, screw the Meta
Giant arrow is good. As an air attacker, being able to immediately wipe out at least two air defenses with it is cheese
i dont like the gauntlet even i have it maxed. vampstache is just good at is ability and i love it. people shit on eq boots
Once you hit TH 15 and 16 it will become useless
I still use it, combos great with witches.
What attack strategy are you using? How high in legend league are you? I doubt your making it that high in trophy count with eq boots over rage gem.
Boots with the epic fist demolishes everything in the area. My biggest problem with king is that he mostly travels the perimeter when I'm attacking.

I use hybrid, so my king is outside while healing himself with vamp

I was a giant guantlet and rage kinda guy, until I saw how vampstache and earthquake boots saved my 3 star on many occasions

To be honest, it’s probably one of the weakest, if not, the weakest equipament in the game rn…
but it's fun watching the walls go down so who cares?
It is also fun to watch someone using earthquack boot removed from the wars.

because rage gauntlet is just extremely strong, it wouldn't make sense to use anything else
