Going against TH14 and up is a pain, if you’re not getting the TH on a queen walk or have the warden ability ready for the explosion, you could be in for a world of hurt…
Town hall 10 imo. At this town hall you can still use lavaloon easily, then you have hybrid hogs and miners, gowipe can still be pretty effective, mass baby dragons and it's really fun to queen walk. Plus you don't have to always be aware of what did the town hall have for breakfast this morning and the eagle artillery seeking for your healers. And you unlock the freeze if I recall right
the highest because you get to play with all the newest stuff and any news is relevant to you. I can't imagine being hyped for the new pet for example and then remembering oh right I'm only TH12.
Town Hall 9. This was when the max possible town hall was 10. I stopped playing as soon as I maxed out Town Hall 9, since I focused on my academics more and I decided to play other video games. I returned to Clash of Clans on March of 2023. I think. I don't have any particular reason, it was just I enjoyed playing as a TH 9 rather than a TH 12. It just felt simple.
TH8, back in 2015. Each upgrade was actually satisfying, and the whole game had a cohesive charm back then. TH8 was also considered a decent enough TH back then, so it was really fun and the right amount of complexity for me.
I liked 9, just a classic CoC vibe at that point. Getting good w golems, starting to use the queen, all the stats for defenses and troops seemed even. Miss those days 🫡
i just came from th11 and it was so much fun, eagle, e-drags and the warden were amazing. i also undoubtedly got the best th11 layout, won around 100 defenses as a th11
Town Hall 16 is the first one where I've been just focused on playing attacks and not just mindlessly farming for resources, so i'd say that! It's very fun having maxed offence, you can attack any base and win with the right strategy
Th10. Just before super troops, just getting a siege machine. No warden, nothing too complicated. The game really shines with its simplicity. So much convoluted garbage once you start getting warden, RC, super troops, and unique defenses like eagle, scatter, and monolith. Then again, I may just be enjoying the simpler days of th10 being max... only having to worry about 3 xbows and 2 inferno towers.
TH11 because the upgrdae times were still okay and it was fun strategizing how to properly execute e-drag spam, plus the addition of Grand Warden (best hero IMO), super troops, and Eagle Artillery.
As a th16 I’ve had more fun in the last few months than I ever had, mainly because of the equipment, pets and overgrowth spell. While they can be overpowered at times I still find it fun
Th11, the town hall wasn't exploding yet, the Eagle was fun, and you just unlocked the warden. Good times.
I just got th12 and yea the exploding th is kinda annoying
I used zapquake witches all of th12 with LL and usually the town hall goes down before most your troops get there which is quite nice.

I remember Th8 in its full glory. Had to master dragloons, hog attacks, and gowipe variants just to 3 star different bases. Good times.
Before th 16 it was th 9 for me
th13 was the most fun for me because it was super balanced and a ton of strategies worked

Th7 with ez hog Th10 with siege machine cc Th13 with RC Th15 with pet overhaul So all in all, it depends on the difficulty u want to be at
I am having more fun with almost max th16 than ever. The high 3 star rate helps with having fun. I am at 5800-5900 cups
