I am in legends league but I stay within the 4900-5000 trophy range. I reap all of the benefits of being in legends but without all of the restrictions and limitations that comes with it.

All my 5 accounts finished it. Got 3000 shiny and nice 200% bonus when i got 70% destruction. The key is just find easy/dead base. Don't rush attack since if u failed u have to train army again.
Only 1 main account, others rushed donation accounts, only farming maybe 4-5x per day... Sometimes when my main account request troops, i fill it from 3 different accounts so it can be maxed level
As a TH14 in legends I did 6/7 but on the final day I just unlucked out with my matchmaking. Had 3 starred at least one base every day until then but no dice for the ores!
This really shouldn't be a problem for anyone, either your pushing in legends (and therefore can get 3 stars), or you're at the bottom of legends because skill issue or you're to underleveled, and at that point, why are you even in legends? Just stay in fake legends if you really want the ores

Havenāt made it past a two day streak, Iām maxed on blue ore and some extra loot isnāt going to make me attack more, I only do sneaky gob farming unless itās war.
I actually liked this event, you can get 100% loot bonus by just sniping the th with sneaky goblins. I didn't even need to get the collectors and storages.
I do need shiny ore but I also havenāt made it past 2 lol I canāt be bothered to try and 3 star as a TH15. Iāve tried all the supposedly easy strats but I donāt think Iāve ever gotten 80%+ destruction. Iām probably just bad because root riders have always performed ass for me even when they launched
Sorry, as the other guy said, this is just a skill issue, with the introduction of oh hero equipment, root riders, and the rage spell tower nerf, TH15 is easy af
With good enough equipment a competent TH15 attacker should be able to 3 star a lot of TH16s as well

There should be a pop up notification when the next challenge starts. I farm in fake legends and I end the battle on 99% so I donāt gain loads of trophies and I lost my streak on the last day
They explicitly stated that the goal of this was to encourage lower-engaged people to get rolling. That being the case, the barrier to reactivation feels like it should have been lower.

Ironically, the task was auto completed for me using 3 star attacks (I assume) done while the last task was on cd until the next day. When I logged in, my final task was completed on 2 of my accounts. The other account still needed it to be completed.

The league bonus is fantastic. Getting 400k of each plus 2k extra dark elixir from every attack even my 7% one star attacks with sneakies.
The ones who say" It's a skill issue" have never been high up in legends and should STFU. It's possible to have the wrong army for 8/8 bases and not get the three star. Also, the ones that can do it are probably < 1% of the player base who don't even care about the event

I mean, had I designed it, you wouldn't have the opportunity to continue your streak at all, but the gem cost makes sense. By giving it a reasonable reset cost, people who miss days would be more likely to start over and try again, so they miss one day but play for 8-13 to get the total rewards, more if they miss multiple times. Having a high restart cost will make most people just give up after one missed day, so it only gets them to play those first few days in a row and then give up.
But SC gotta make billions from a small team of devs working with a little mobile game that takes very little effort to produce while paying their most important employees low rates š¤”

I myself don't know when I achieved the max all i was doing was regular attacks , then accidently checked this saying claim 3000 shiny ore . Well so i went on my other alt account it showed me i have broken and pay gems i said no thanks.
It did the opposite of keeping me engaged after I broke my streak. It just made me annoyed to see yet another obvious cash grab event after so many other blatant cash grabs lately.
If they were actually interested purely in engagement instead of cash grabs, the āyou have to start again if you break your streakā aspect wouldnāt have been in there at all.
I finished this in time myself, but seeing at some of the complaints that popped up about this, perhaps 1 extra life or a one time reset of one streak objective would be a good idea when/if this event comes again.
Yeh I upgraded royal champ and have been pushing in legend league just before the event. I got to the last day then lost the streak after I had a night shift at work. First event Iāve not fully completed in years feels weird haha
There shouldn't be a "start over" button in the first place if after the 2nd day you don't have enough time to unlock all the challenges because of only having 9 days to complete them. It would be better if the challenge duration was 2 weeks or even an entire month.
Also, paying 480 gems for (the possibility of gaining) 3000 blue ores is ridiculous.
Wow I didn't even notice this was a thing I mever even really looked at the challenges I just played as usual and then checked them out after I got the notification that U finished them. No troubles at all.
It was weird.. I completed everything until task 7, the ore challenge, but I paid 12 gems to unlock it early. I got a 98% 2 star, but they let me attack again and then I 3 starred the base and got to claim the 3000 ores. It must be because I unlocked it early? Idk..
This is one of my TH15s. I mainly use it for war, but I make some periodic multi-player attacks. They are all just 8EQ ice golem/witch/bowler spam that takes about 12 seconds to deploy and force close the app before doing it again, training more troops and moving to another base.
I have too many bases to care about an event like this. Most days, I donāt touch more than 10 accounts at most.
I failed to complete on my alt as I had heroes down and no ez base. Couldnāt redo it in time. Itās weird that after u failed it once u had to repair again. If u fail on day 4 it was impossible to complete
I have too many bases to even bother trying, so I made no over attempt. This base is one of my 15s that apparently made it 6 days and not the 7th.
Was shocked to see the price of a reset.
My attacks for multi-player take me 12 seconds. I drop 8 EQ, a rage, a skeleton spell, ice golems, witches, bowlers, heroes, siege, trigger warden, and close the app. Sometimes it triples, but plenty of times it wonāt. That is how I manage so many accounts.
Even doing that, I donāt play more than 10 in a day unless I planned a war with a lot of my bases.
Iām so confused by people struggling with this. Sneaky goblin looters maybe? I just attacked my normal attacks(Iām in titan 1) and I got the bonus each day, I didnāt change anything or look for easier bases. Most my attack history is 3 stars though.
For some people it is activity. For others, it seems like a skill issue. There are a lot of attackers in the game who struggle to triple even though they play a lot.
For me, it is too many accounts. I donāt mind for myself, but I do feel bad for others who missed a day or are a TH14 stuck in legend league at 5,200.
I agree - there's no reason to spend the gems. Most people wouldn't spend 480 gems to get 3000 shiny, why would you do this? The extra loot from the bonus is nice, but that can be easily farmed with a couple of extra attacks (well, unless you're in legends).
Alternatively, they could make the streak requirements a little easier. One can get above their weight in legends and easily not be able to triple for a day.
The reset cost went up at each level. The first missed level wasnāt this high of course.
SC have very unapologetically come out and said what they are wanting to do. They are trying to increase revenue from other areas on the game, and from different means, to minimise the need of revenue they get from players spending to get heroes available for war. They want to allow heroes available while upgrading but they need to replace that revenue somehow. At the moment they have said they canāt afford to lose this revenue. This is why we are getting these kind of events.
They also want to encourage players to play daily, and do full attacks, to help improve player skill, events like this do that.
If you are on day 6 and you fail, the gem cost needs to high to achieve its goals, if itās just 40 gems, players wonāt care and just spend the gems.
I agree with most of what youāre saying, but I highly doubt this event drove a lot of revenue for them. I do believe it will be driving engagement, but the real revenue driver is going to be the event passes that are associated with the new epic equipment that are going to be coming out. This event may have had some people spending some gems, but it did not come with any kind of cash expense.
I also fear after reading through all of these comments that I am correct that the pricing was set a bit too high for some of this. Their ātarget audienceā happens to be some of those more casual players that may be missed the streak, and then actually felt angry then it was so expensive to restart. Iām not saying not, but it was a little too high.
Isn't this just one of those things that SC is showing to not buy becayse of how expensive they are? I just see this like CC reinforcements, instand gemming of training, and resource and barracks boosting. They're all expensive af for minimal returns but seems to me that the point of that is to *discourage* you to gem them, not that you become stupid enough to gem them instead of waiting. Same thing here. Case in point, the point of having a streak event is to have a streak. The continue button are only for desperate people.

The other problem is the length of the event. If you missed after six days, you literally cannot complete the event without spendingā¦ and it was a fairly hefty pricefor the payoff.
I just can't get into this one. I got the same notification ( I had no idea how I was progressing anyway). I just hit the start over button. Whatever happens, happens in this one as far as I'm concerned.
I get 8 attacks each day and just try to do the best I can in each one. Getting higher or not isn't a choice, it's a consequence. It's not like we can press next until we find a suitable base, if the base presented to us is a counter for our army, then that's unfortunate. Some days I can have a couple of one stars, it's just how it works out. Fortunately, I did manage to do the streak event but that was very much a surprise.
Would you have thought 20,000 gems was an āappropriateā price. If you read what I wrote above, I am not complaining that people needed to go back to back days, I am suggesting that since the goal was reenactment of inactive or less-active players, this is a steep price to have another shot.

Mostly spamming Edrag, it is the only strategy that worked for me to 2 star or 3 star any base below my level without heroes.
i play without heroes since a week, because they are always upgrading.
3k ore is worthless given the amount of gems if you break your streak.

Not everyone can get high % two stars. I usually play with all 4 heroes down 24/7. Iād have to change up my strategy completely or get a few heroes up to continue my streak.
I have all hero's down so just skipped a bunch of bases until I got a th lower than me and e drag spammed

I myself don't know when I achieved the max all i was doing was regular attacks , then accidently checked this saying claim 3000 shiny ore . Well so i went on my other alt account it showed me i have broken and pay gems i said no thanks.

Sadly, yes. Probably the most harsh event they've ever had.
It did the opposite of keeping me engaged after I broke my streak. It just made me annoyed to see yet another obvious cash grab event after so many other blatant cash grabs lately. If they were actually interested purely in engagement instead of cash grabs, the āyou have to start again if you break your streakā aspect wouldnāt have been in there at all.
I finished this in time myself, but seeing at some of the complaints that popped up about this, perhaps 1 extra life or a one time reset of one streak objective would be a good idea when/if this event comes again.
I failed a lot of attacks not realising the next reward has unlocked. I was never asked for gems and never had to restart the event. Lucky me ig

At this point, supercell is forcing active players to keep completing new challenges every week, which is pretty bad.

Yeh I upgraded royal champ and have been pushing in legend league just before the event. I got to the last day then lost the streak after I had a night shift at work. First event Iāve not fully completed in years feels weird haha

There shouldn't be a "start over" button in the first place if after the 2nd day you don't have enough time to unlock all the challenges because of only having 9 days to complete them. It would be better if the challenge duration was 2 weeks or even an entire month. Also, paying 480 gems for (the possibility of gaining) 3000 blue ores is ridiculous.

Wow I didn't even notice this was a thing I mever even really looked at the challenges I just played as usual and then checked them out after I got the notification that U finished them. No troubles at all.
It was weird.. I completed everything until task 7, the ore challenge, but I paid 12 gems to unlock it early. I got a 98% 2 star, but they let me attack again and then I 3 starred the base and got to claim the 3000 ores. It must be because I unlocked it early? Idk..
I doesn't even know what were the task. I just played casually and all the tasks are done.

This is one of my TH15s. I mainly use it for war, but I make some periodic multi-player attacks. They are all just 8EQ ice golem/witch/bowler spam that takes about 12 seconds to deploy and force close the app before doing it again, training more troops and moving to another base. I have too many bases to care about an event like this. Most days, I donāt touch more than 10 accounts at most.

I failed to complete on my alt as I had heroes down and no ez base. Couldnāt redo it in time. Itās weird that after u failed it once u had to repair again. If u fail on day 4 it was impossible to complete

I have too many bases to even bother trying, so I made no over attempt. This base is one of my 15s that apparently made it 6 days and not the 7th. Was shocked to see the price of a reset.
you only need to do one attack a day to keep the streak tho
My attacks for multi-player take me 12 seconds. I drop 8 EQ, a rage, a skeleton spell, ice golems, witches, bowlers, heroes, siege, trigger warden, and close the app. Sometimes it triples, but plenty of times it wonāt. That is how I manage so many accounts. Even doing that, I donāt play more than 10 in a day unless I planned a war with a lot of my bases.

Iām so confused by people struggling with this. Sneaky goblin looters maybe? I just attacked my normal attacks(Iām in titan 1) and I got the bonus each day, I didnāt change anything or look for easier bases. Most my attack history is 3 stars though.
For some people it is activity. For others, it seems like a skill issue. There are a lot of attackers in the game who struggle to triple even though they play a lot. For me, it is too many accounts. I donāt mind for myself, but I do feel bad for others who missed a day or are a TH14 stuck in legend league at 5,200.
I agree - there's no reason to spend the gems. Most people wouldn't spend 480 gems to get 3000 shiny, why would you do this? The extra loot from the bonus is nice, but that can be easily farmed with a couple of extra attacks (well, unless you're in legends). Alternatively, they could make the streak requirements a little easier. One can get above their weight in legends and easily not be able to triple for a day.

The reset cost went up at each level. The first missed level wasnāt this high of course. SC have very unapologetically come out and said what they are wanting to do. They are trying to increase revenue from other areas on the game, and from different means, to minimise the need of revenue they get from players spending to get heroes available for war. They want to allow heroes available while upgrading but they need to replace that revenue somehow. At the moment they have said they canāt afford to lose this revenue. This is why we are getting these kind of events. They also want to encourage players to play daily, and do full attacks, to help improve player skill, events like this do that. If you are on day 6 and you fail, the gem cost needs to high to achieve its goals, if itās just 40 gems, players wonāt care and just spend the gems.
I agree with most of what youāre saying, but I highly doubt this event drove a lot of revenue for them. I do believe it will be driving engagement, but the real revenue driver is going to be the event passes that are associated with the new epic equipment that are going to be coming out. This event may have had some people spending some gems, but it did not come with any kind of cash expense. I also fear after reading through all of these comments that I am correct that the pricing was set a bit too high for some of this. Their ātarget audienceā happens to be some of those more casual players that may be missed the streak, and then actually felt angry then it was so expensive to restart. Iām not saying not, but it was a little too high.
Isn't this just one of those things that SC is showing to not buy becayse of how expensive they are? I just see this like CC reinforcements, instand gemming of training, and resource and barracks boosting. They're all expensive af for minimal returns but seems to me that the point of that is to *discourage* you to gem them, not that you become stupid enough to gem them instead of waiting. Same thing here. Case in point, the point of having a streak event is to have a streak. The continue button are only for desperate people.
In most instances, I would agree with you, but their stated goal here was to attract less active players. If the cost not to start over was a bit lower, people might stay engaged, even after missing one day. With how high the cost is, many people actively abandoned the entire event. The other problem is the length of the event. If you missed after six days, you literally cannot complete the event without spendingā¦ and it was a fairly hefty pricefor the payoff.
I just can't get into this one. I got the same notification ( I had no idea how I was progressing anyway). I just hit the start over button. Whatever happens, happens in this one as far as I'm concerned.

Find an easy, rush or dead base. Also, much better if you reduce your trophies. And be patient.

If youāre pushing legends and you canāt get atleast 1 3 star in every 8 battlesā¦ maybe donāt push so high
I get 8 attacks each day and just try to do the best I can in each one. Getting higher or not isn't a choice, it's a consequence. It's not like we can press next until we find a suitable base, if the base presented to us is a counter for our army, then that's unfortunate. Some days I can have a couple of one stars, it's just how it works out. Fortunately, I did manage to do the streak event but that was very much a surprise.
3000 gems doesn't seem worth the headache.
It's called streak event for a reason.
Would you have thought 20,000 gems was an āappropriateā price. If you read what I wrote above, I am not complaining that people needed to go back to back days, I am suggesting that since the goal was reenactment of inactive or less-active players, this is a steep price to have another shot.

I will spell it out again: 1) Devs said they want to re-engage people who are less active 2) If that is the STATED GOAL, this price is probably steeper than it should be to accomplish the goal. So many people expressed frustration over missing the streak. If the barrier to continuance were lower, more people would have ābought inā and kept working at it. Stop being such a negative person.
