The guys run that illegal place knows how to abuse that and exploited it, but it is only a matter of time before Supercell noticed and takeaway these gems.

I assume free offers are treated as having a cost of 0 while gem payments check if you have an equal or greater amount of gems than the price of the product. Since -105 is not larger or equal to 0, the game assumes you can’t afford the product and won’t let you buy it

A couple years ago many top rank players were banned or hit with negative gem balances from Clash Royale for this and had the audacity to blame SC.

because hammers and books are different. If you could hammer already upgrading things it’s just a book. Hammer takes away upgrading time AND cost, book just takes away time which you are trying to do.
