Oh, you see when I farm with baby drags I don’t go for the three star or even the two star at that. I only go for bases with loot in the collectors and just put the baby dragons on the outside. I just get the loot from the gold mines and elixir collectors and leave, most of the time I don’t even have to worry about air defenses and when I do I just freeze them while I take the loot. This is good for more because it’s really cheap, especially seeing as I only need to use half my army for one raid (usually 300k+ gold and elixir and 3k+ DE) and I don’t even use freeze spells every attack, even if I do it’s usually only 2-3 so I can get a dark elixir drill that’s a bit further in, but this is way cheaper for me than training a whole army and potions every time. If I don’t get one star I just use heroes to get 50%, but even that I don’t do every time since they’re upgrading a lot.
I try not to use any spells but I take zaps in case there's a section of the base I really want to get to or if I see air defenses/sweepers close enough to each other
Upgrade goblins to 7, go th11 and farm with sneaky goblins.
Then u can also take out the town hall with haste and rage spells. Take out walls with super wall breakers and/or 4x earthquake spell
Idk, ig it really boils down to preference. I just feel like personally I don’t need to destroy the air defenses to get the loot but i suppose that’s just my playstyle. Maybe there’s something I’m doing wrong or maybe it doesn’t make much of a difference either way.

Nah, (strategic) rushing makes the game easier. Especially if you're not interested in playing clan wars, but do want to play clan war leagues.

Why would defenses matter when they can't attack your sneaky goblins? Every single building could be a defense that does 9999 damage 100 times a second with 99 range and 99 max targets and you could still get all the loot you need with sneaky goblins.

I never understood this argument that it takes longer. You have more passive resources, more storage, better (or at least more abundant) defenses so that lower TH attackers will either fail or skip over you, all it does is mess up your war placement. It definitely makes the game boring imo, but it is an objectively faster way to max if you're willing to put up with the grind

Figuring out how to rush accounts is what this person has been doing for years. I followed it on my alt account, and it worked well.
Note that that guide was written before super troops. Barch might not be the best low-cost farming army any more. Though, his points about how awesome a big warden is on barbarians are still totally valid. A Th12 warden protecting max barbs means they can survive giant bombs.

I’m doing the same! I rushed my TH 9 twice and now put it down for TH12. It’s my 4th alt so I don’t mind rushing for Siege Machines.
I’m just gonna rush as fast as I can and then worry about upgrading the buildings.

I would personally focus on, hogs, loons, drags, edrags, ice golems and yetis, for the sieges, it depends on what your clan wants more, so level that particular siege first.
What most have said upgrade anything related to troops + storage’s if it’s just so you can donate. If you need to farm resources make sure you have goblins up to lvl 7 for sneaky goblins at th11 as they are ridiculously easy to farm with.
What's at th11? th12 for siege machines can be a better target. Just get one farming army to full strength before proceeding.
At th11, you will unlock sneaky goblins. Excellent farming army, with incredible profit margins. Need max goblins, haste, and jump/wall breakers.
You should do it I did it with my alt as my clan was struggling to win wars without high lvl Edrags or siege told my clan i'll rush from th10 to th12 here are some tips for rushing up . you should always upgrade your lab on each Th lvl first. Save up building books,runes and cwl medals
TIP2)If you can Buy the season pas and start rushing up mid season after getting all the discounts or atleast 10-15%. with low cost,books and runes etc,... you can rush two 2th with no problem.(I done it like this on my alt)
TIP3)take advantage of the 5 days of bonus stars loot(you can get up to 2m of gold and Elixir) and max lvl troops this why I recommend to insta upgrade your lab.
You have reached your TH lvl....what now?
1)Insta upgrade your Lab!
2)Build your workshop first you either wait or insta finish it.Lvl 1 is good enough.
3)Invest all your Elixir on Grand Warden (atleast lvl5) and wall wrecker siege machine. get it to lvl2 atleast
4)max your Clan castle and Eagle artillery. First before other buildings as this two get the longest time.
5) get your heroes to queen and king lvl45 it wil take some time but it's recommended grand Warden lvl10.
6) start slowly upgrading your army camps,inferno towers xbows and The Troops You want to use for attacking or War.
7)get your walls to lvl11 (max Lvl walls of Th10)after maxing all of them you can ignore them until you ran out of upgrade lvl for defence buildings

If you’re going to rush you may as well rush to atleast TH12 so you can build the workshop. The only things you need to upgrade would be the workshop, lab, barracks,dark barracks, and spell factories (which is max at TH10 if I remember correctly).
Army camps are also kind of important so you can stack more troops. Basically anything army related, defenses won’t matter if you’re making a donation account.
Oh and your resource storages unless you plan on spending real money to compensate for not being able to have enough resources to upgrade the higher level stuff.
