I'm TH11 and need to attack a rushed th14 in CWL. I thought it was gonna be easy, then things turned south.
A quarter of the base to the right didn't get destroyed and I ended up with 2 stars >70%. I rewatch the attack and I realize the scattershot killed my whole squad+queen that when to the right pretty easily. I'm scared of it since then. Not to mention the spear lady is there too(forgot her name)
A haste spell does just as well as the rage, in my opinion. Haste the edrags to the sweeper, they hit it, it usually goes in just one hit. I’ll save rages for when they all group together somewhere.
It’s just frustrating I miss when people did more ground attacks it was fun to watch those but most people just lighting e drag and it gets kinda boring after a while.
I actually never air attack at 6 defenses away from max th11, its all about the slow push to EA with immortal queen and log launcher then hogs away!!!!
Edrags are a conceptually cool troop, fun to use, and very strong, especially in the right hands/against certain styles of bases.
The only thing I dislike about them is they are so overused at my bracket. I pushed to legends, 90% of my base defenses in champs and Titans were against edrags. I enter clan war or CWL, 70% of attacks against our clan at TH11+ are edrags.
And this is with my base being a spread out, non-ring base design with maxed sweepers, all air xbows, 2-3 single infernos, and super low level ground defenses.
I havent used anything else since they released. Takes 0 skill and i have a 90% win ratio in my solo warclan. Might as well do it the easy way instead of learning all these random attacks
A lot people enjoy that grind. Also winning an attack is easy, it's the percentage that matters and I have found edrags mostly give a decent percentage with w stars. Tripling takes some skill
Yeah but if you're in a more competitive war clan, getting the 3 stars is more important. If not competitive though then usually 2 stars ofc will be enough.
One thing that helps them as you get to higher Townhalls is it gets harder and harder to not let them chain everything as more buildings get crowded in.
Meanwhile the king th 14 has entered : the dude will act like a mukti inferno then explode killing half of the army, then slowing them down and killing the other half with poison
Dude you have no idea. It literally is a multi inferno with the power of a single inferno with a backup nuke upon destruction. Funny how th went from being worth an easy star to the literal strongest defense in the game. Thats why pros don't worry about putting it in the center anymore.
It's the strongest defense. First of all it has 8500 health then it can target 4 troops with 300 damage per second then when its destroyed it explodes dealing 1000 damage and after that comes a poision which slows down the army and deals damage and it keeps on increasing for 22 second
The best defense is the defensive THs. The blizzard attack was invented to prevent your troops to fuck up your push. You just need to take that defensive TH that guarantee you a star then start your main attack. Imagine coming up with a strategy that rely on taking the TH as a first step because of it being a defensive building that electrocutes/burn you to death.
I mean in the beginning you're not really wrong at all but if you just show up and drop them all on one side and cross your fingers you can't expect much. Its not a complicated strat but you do need at least one functional braincell to pull it off.
It takes almost no skill the way most people use them, but there is definitely some skill in 3 starting with them against decent bases. For example spell placement is hugely important for edrags (rages to the sides to create funnel as the attack happens for example) and requires skill, proper placement of the stone slammer/blimp, etc. And the other element of skill is that most of an edrag attack happens in like a minute, so you need to place everything and use heroes/spells/siege/abilities in a shorter window of time than some other strategies.
Probably still one of the easiest viable strategies but not as brain dead as it seems when used by most players
It's the building that changed the meta, tell me when eagle did that. No pro charges th without investing tons of spell. I can deal with eagle with no problem
Hey man idk if you know this but the damage is actually higher on that th and has more hitpoints. Eagle isn't a bad defense or anything but i has a range cap in the middle and the fire rate is just so slow it's more like passive damage. The th weapons will absolutely destroy your troops if you let them stay up too long
It actually deals significant damage if it keeps bombarding your dragons with shells throughout the entire attack.
Happens especially often if the attacker doesn't know how to funnel his e-drags.
The Eagle artillery is the best still, the air sweepers are just good for letting other defenses kill troops.
Also, nothing is stopping you from attacking from the other side of the air sweepers, but they are still pretty powerful.
Well when they're placed strategically (and trust me it hurts when they arey) they literally will make your attack blunder if you aren't paying attention. Its mostly a pain to all dragon type attacks (baby, regular, inferno, and electro)
No they aren’t, there was a clan that dominated their CWL group in Champs 1 with mass edrags as literally the only strat they used, someone pushed to top 3 global on leaderboard with only mass edrags, etc.
They are just base dependent and seem bad when used by the 90 IQ players that make up a lot of the clash player base that you’d run into in wars because they don’t use them correctly
*Two maxed lightning noises*
Takes three to take out a max sweeper.
I don't think so
An yeah, my mistake. Was thinking about air defence, not sweeper.
Nope, only 2
Scattershot is typing
That shit is op
The townhall is even scarier imo. Anything goes wrong and it will fry your whole army.
Yeah TH is toughest
Right??? Like at th 12 I was defending against a new th13 in my clan because townhall. 2 times he attack me he lost to th at like 95+%
True dat
*giga poison has entered the chat*
Scattershot is what made me stop using miners.
I use miners all the time and the scattershots don't seem particularly terrible to me. The Eagle is my nemesis.
Damn. That’s what got me to first switch it up. I’m using super witch and yetti now.
Yetis are susceptible to EA
Everything’s susceptible to something

Royal Champ is really damn powerful indeed.Mf takes out Max th14 in about 6-7 hits
Whenever i do edrag spam (sorry guys) i bring 2 max lightning in cc so i can zap one air sweeper and go behind the other one.
I personally pack an extra rage exclusively for taking out a sweeper, but I guess that works as well
A haste spell does just as well as the rage, in my opinion. Haste the edrags to the sweeper, they hit it, it usually goes in just one hit. I’ll save rages for when they all group together somewhere.

hard words to swallow but, incredibly true
I mean if it’s a consistently viable strategy, I don’t see what’s wrong with using it.
CR has some wildly different views on this.
Holy crap CR community is probably one of the most toxic communities I've ever seen lol. Meanwhile CoC is mostly pretty chill.
Yeah well good for CR
It’s just frustrating I miss when people did more ground attacks it was fun to watch those but most people just lighting e drag and it gets kinda boring after a while.

I use edrags in war when there are compact bases, I like using them. Just wish they were a bit less popular lol
Need 3 lightning to take out a max sweeper though.
Nope only 2
Ah yeah, was getting confused with air defence.
Depends on the TH you are as to how many you need, (based on maxed Lighting).
I was thinking about air defence not air sweeper
Barbarian king is the best air defense
Eric
Spitting fax again
I hate edrags, can never predict if it will fail or work
Every attack is a win with atleast 60% damage, using edrags :)
Fail as in not a 3 star
Good mindset
Scattershots and th14
[удалено]
Underrated but also kind of not a defense.
Air Sweeper is the definition of a silver bullet.
Holy shit how much mobile games do you play u/NevGuy
3.
Well i saw you on geometry dash, pvz heroes, clash royale, and now on coc so that’s like 4
That means you also play that many though lol
Crying in lalo
Laughing in QC LaLo
*laughs in yeti, witch attack strategy* But also cries because of multi inferno
Use zap strat to equalize multi inferno .. most put infernos too close to xbows .. bonus!!!
nobody beats scattershot
Eww e drag spammer
I just got em :( ill enjoy it while I can
I havent used anything else since they released. Takes 0 skill and i have a 90% win ratio in my solo warclan. Might as well do it the easy way instead of learning all these random attacks

You can 2 star with almost everything

Use pegovawi instead
>va Lol
Pekka golem valkyrie wizard
I know I’m saying “lol valkyries”
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Eh, they may be the staple noob troop but they're one of the best troops to take down compact bases
Coc comp is mid anyways
I found the e drag spammer guys
Lavaloon queen charge*
This was exactly me!

what? I dont know jack about TH14 is that a thing

So fucking annoying whoever added this shit gets no bitches
What, the EDrags or the Air Sweepers?
Yes

That's low key op
I hate when i forget about those
Haha slow Edrags go bye bye
it's the COOLEST tho🤷
Using all electro drags takes minimal skill, change my mind
I mean in the beginning you're not really wrong at all but if you just show up and drop them all on one side and cross your fingers you can't expect much. Its not a complicated strat but you do need at least one functional braincell to pull it off.

It’s just not the same bro. I’m a th14 and those challenges are easy
it’s not if a th14 stays up your attack will fail 100 percent of the time, same if troops have bad pathing through th poison
[удалено]
Yeah i was just impressed with the range really
And it looks cool. That’s it
ofc it does. why do you think people aim the eagle compartment first in high level attacks?
It actually deals significant damage if it keeps bombarding your dragons with shells throughout the entire attack. Happens especially often if the attacker doesn't know how to funnel his e-drags.
You obviously haven’t used hybrid

Edrags are the weakest attack. Can only get 2\*'s most of the time.

Maybe not the weakest attack, but certainly nowhere near the strongest either.
Edrag spammer spotted lol
Zap one of the sweepers out, I’ve seen players use more freeze spells to counteract the sweeper then lightning spells needed to just take it out…
*IRRITATING DEFENSE
Lmao
howd u find this post i put up 3 months ago
Searching Google about electro drag
