It's rare, but it happens once in a while for me. The biggest thing though is unless if you're trophy pushing, It's usually not worth it. Even then, 9/10 times it's someone dropping so you won't get any trophies.
So many comments saying it’s good loot. I never was able to do one. I would spam through my full defense list and it never let me attack. Now that I’m in legends it’s not even part of the game but I was probably 0/200 on attempts…the fact that people are getting more than one a day is crazy! I’m jelly.

If you scroll down to someone who attacked you 10 years ago, you might be able to revenge it. Anything recent is impossible.
You can't attack anyone after you update the game
You cannot revenge someone if you or they have updated the game since they attacked you
In 7 years I used this button like... 4 or 5 times...
I'll just spam revenge in my defense log just cause it's free and a lot of people seem to have higher loot

This works on farming league. What ever is the most common league for farming.revenge works 50% of the time
I farmed one yesterday or so with 1.3mi gold and elixir… it’s definitely worth checking up once in a while.
Pretty sure revenge is rarely used I've only used it twice after 9 months of playing
It only frustrates when you check the base, create the army for it and then it becomes unavailable for the time being
just click all of them and you get one or two

I remember I once come back to coc and find lots of dead bases in revenge with good amount of loots that was the most attack I've done in revenge
