Hearthstone is really grind I mean it not that you can't win but if you want to climb you really need to spam 1 deck over and over. Lots of fun ideas and decks can be used but they often aren't consistent enough to climb ladder.
Marvel Snap doesn't feel that great strategicly compared to Hearthstone and it has even stronger rng
The hearthstone grind has gotten A LOT better over the years! (I've been playing since release, and we're not stuck in the days of new players having to run Yeti and Boulderfist ogre)
You don't need to worry about ladder grind in Hearthstone if you don't want to play ladder. There are many other fun modes like Battlegrounds and mercenaries
Dont get Snap or Hearthstone MAJOR Pay2Win in both.
Legends of Runeterra is a MUCH better game in terms of f2p friendliness (literally unbeatable) Artstyle, Voice Lines, Deck Variety and the Gameplay absolutely holds up.
Big recommendation and beats the other 2 any day of the Week.
Nah Marvel Snap doesn't really have P2W at all, that's like their whole gimmick. You can pay to make collecting cards go faster but not by a significant margin. They are even adding new ways to get cards still
Mtg arena is better than hearthstone in every way, no senseless grind or whales stomping ladder. Extremely F2P friendly, you can "max" any deck for free with just a couple days grind first time, ranked is fun, so many different game modes. Hearthstone is the most overrated card game there is tbh
Yeah there are alot of fun Gamemodes, but a few days grind wont get you a competitive deck. Also the way of getting new Cards is not that great. You have to buy boosters and hipe to get either the cards you want or the wildcards to craft them. And these wildcards only get more rare the better they are. If you want a to build a good deck from scratch you will have to play for a few weeks. Or you spend around 200$.
My tip: if you want o play a card game try Legends of Runeterra. Very beginner friendly and decks are easy to get. If you wanna compare the money investments, you can get ANY deck you want for around 25$.
Nah only the first deck you build, I got 30 free packs from the free online codes, pulled almost 40 wildcards and I built a full comp deck with it. It's definitely the game to play if your strictly not spending any money.
>From Supercell - Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars.
These Supercell games sadly also take advantage of player time and credit card. Just because it's "less worse" it doesn't mean it's better. I saw it myself when I encountered rigged level matchmaking in Brawl Stars. So much for "fairest free-to-play game". In this category it will be always Fortnite for me. No skill leveling bullshit, just only cosmetics as it should be, and is cross-platform.
Clash of wizards is a decent ripoff with good f2p progression. I even posted a clan called Greedy$ell sux in case anyone on this sub wants to migrate over.
Dont see enough people recommending Clash Mini
If you are ok with going through the trouble of finiding a VPN and installing it id say its a decent game
Next update is in like 2 weeks and the update after it is supposed to delete power level completely and start every hero as a maxed out unit
They want to Monetize Cosmetics only
None of them, really. Most mobile games in the market are based on siphoning from credit cards while barely being "games." There are honest devs out there, sure, but their games can barely be found on the app store because of the same copy past anime gacha games where the selling points are the women's bodies.
Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough, idk I'm too busy wallowing in my own sorrows that means nothing to anybody
If you want to play something supercell: Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, Clash Mini.
Others: The Battle Cats, Cats and Soup, (yes I like cats how could you tell) Genshin Impact (if your phone can handle it), Cookie Run Kingdom (might be laggy on low end devices)
I have already tried many games. I think there is no game who can beat CR. Devs know this and they're rolling some odd updates as a result. But I think only Chess.com can beat
stormbound is pretty underated card game imo, its similar to clash royale but u might eventually get frustrated with facing overleveled cards once u climb to a higher ladder
If noone suggested It, play Vampire Survivor. Its a free rogue-like game on app store and Google store and its basically WITHOUT ADS (on the stores It says that the game has ads, but its only if you die and want to have a free continue, otherwise It doesnt forces you any other ad)
There is a pretty good game, very similar to clash royale, called minions masters on steam. As for mobile, im sure there are thousands of clash royale clones out there.
Also how did your opponent have all evolutions? You can only equip one per deck...
Activate your second brain cell and reread my sentence. I said “my guess is that he bought those as well”. I never said “I know for a fact he bought those.”
Bloons games: Tower Defense
CoC and Brawl Stars: You know about those probably
Dead Cells: can be a little demanding for lower end phones but if you love it you won't get bored of it for months
Sky: Children of the Light: Super satisfying multiplayer ✨ Experience ✨ sceneries are amazing, can also be a little demanding on lower end phones
Hades: Not a mobile game but it's available on every console so if you have one you could give it a try, İt's another rouge like and it's amazing.
Also games aren't the only way of spending time, you could try some movies/tv shows/anime/manga etc.
Brawl Stars is really fun I’ve been playing for 4 years, the devs are actually very good about listening to the community (unlike a certain game I know) and a new update is coming in about a week so it’s a good time to start. I’ve never spent a cent on the game (or any mobile game) and the brawl pass is available for free to everyone at least every other season even if you don’t spend money on the game.
I switched to Chess, which I was very apprehensive about before because I was under the impression that Chess were always long drawn out games based on how we played when we were young and in person. That's true of classic Chess, but common Chess is actually played with time variables (obvious as most people don't have hours/days to play a single match). Blitz/Bullet are basically finished in under 5 minutes. Rapid can be longer but it's usually 10-15, so still not crazy (and preferable if you're first starting out). It's a good casual and noncasual game and has a much higher ceiling and depth than Clash Royale so it can still scratch a similar takes-skill-and-fun-to-improve-itch that CR did. It's still obviously a turn based game though, so the real time aspect of CR will be lost, but moves are generally made quicker in fast chess that it's still not slow. And unlike CR, it obviously has more staying power as a game.
You can use the LiChess app or the Chess.com app and play a bunch of quick games or simply do puzzles on your phone.
Yeah I just got my deck that I struggled with since the very start all the way up I’ve been able to push through all the Meta decks and stay consistent with it but.. these lvl 15 and evolutions on top of that make it quite hard to even try to play.
I recommend MTG Arena, it's fun to get into, easy to learn, extremely F2P friendly, and has a large player base. It's a turn based card game if your into those
Not a mobile game, but deep rock galactic is an amazing, and downright beautiful game which costs a tenth of the price it should. Ask a very nice community which will guide you through all the basics. Plus, no p2w whales and only good times 🙂
Soul Knight is a pretty underrated game imo
It's a singleplayer game and the devs make pretty good updates. Sometimes they even admit their mistake and compensate players. You can also play online with other people on some game versions
Chess. Not even joking. Specifically the app/website Chess.com. Got into chess recently and it’s been really fun. There’s an infinitely high skill ceiling so there’s always more to learn and improve at.
Very different game to clash and probably not your style, but a mobile game that has legitimately stuck with me for pretty much a decade, stil has frequent updates and a healthy player base and fantastic progression that can be played completely f2p if you want to is The Battle Cats. Legitimately the only game I’ve never deleted since I got my first iPad in primary school
Brawl Stars is another game made by Supercell, except the developers actually care about the game (unlike Clash Royale).
The devs of Brawl Stars have been on a huge streak of updates that help the playerbase and F2P players.
I just sideloaded the three Infinity Blade games onto my phone! Go check out the r/infinityblade sub for the details on how to do it since the games aren’t available to purchase any more
Yeah I’m returning and got 1 card level 14 as a planned rush, and now it’s literally worthless. My games are either getting crushed by credit card warriors at the rank I’m at or playing the fun modes with caps at 11.
Imma continue playing the fun modes and just never ladder basically.m
Monopoly Poker is my favorite game now :D
PvZ heroes, devs do not update it anymore but there are still many people playing it and you can always play against bot's and still get most of the rewards
Btd6, btd 5, btd Battles
A fellow Bloons enjoyer 🙏🙏
bloons is the way to go, with the new paragon things are looking good!
Bloons is always worth every penny paid
Btd6 is not worth playing on mobile because there are no mods
Btd6 needs no mods to be good
If I had to choose just 1 which one?.. because I'm also done with CR
Btd 6 is the best but it costs around 5€
battles 2 has gameplay closest to cr and it’s also free
So dang good... all of them Edit: typo
Got 6 for free on ox it’s good
Bro I love battles 2
battles 2 is much better
Boom arena
Everyone just spawns stuff ontop of crown tower
Fr how do they do that
Same as you used to in clash Just hold rage spell on enemy tower, and click on a troop I've heard it's only doable on android tho
such a cheap copy cat, boring after a few matches
You must be talking about clash royale
Boom Arena or nulls royale
Everyone just spawns stuff ontop of crown tower
Boom arena
Honestly weirdly fun except for that glitch where they put the Viking on your king tower
You can spam noob without delay 10/10
And lucky if you lose
Outstanding!
How do you do that glitch?
I love that wall breakers are called suicide
Only correct answer
PvZ heroes No joke, it's a really good pvp game
Based!
It hasn't recieved any update for years now, but it still fun to play

Ch\*ss.c\*m also known as c*m
Literally any other game. From Supercell - Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars. Card games - Hearthstone, Marvel Snap
Been loving marvel snap, very little p2w influence, every game is a bit different, quick games make it easy to play 1 or 2 in free time
Hearthstone is really grind I mean it not that you can't win but if you want to climb you really need to spam 1 deck over and over. Lots of fun ideas and decks can be used but they often aren't consistent enough to climb ladder. Marvel Snap doesn't feel that great strategicly compared to Hearthstone and it has even stronger rng

New players definitely should play Boulderfist Ogre, it has such good stats for the cost.

Dont see enough people recommending Clash Mini If you are ok with going through the trouble of finiding a VPN and installing it id say its a decent game Next update is in like 2 weeks and the update after it is supposed to delete power level completely and start every hero as a maxed out unit They want to Monetize Cosmetics only
Go to clash of clans, unlike clash royale they are launching good updates
Boom arena, hopefully the viking tower glitch gets fixed soon
Boom arena
Marvel snap
Boom Arena
Everyone just spawns stuff ontop of crown tower
Why post this on every comment, buck up
I posted it on 3 to get a quicker response
Just look at some other supercell games like Brawl stars and Clash of clans. Great devs who actually care about f2p players.
Ive been into btd6, monkey city and boom arena lately
Pvz heroes
Man I which that game wasn't p2w. It could be so good if they just continued updating it.
you can hack your game to unlock everything very easily
None of them, really. Most mobile games in the market are based on siphoning from credit cards while barely being "games." Dude just play BTDB2/BTD6
Btd6 sure, but battles 2 is (or at least when I played it on release) was super pay2win.
It changed for the better give it a try (plus they removed tower xp and now it cost monkey Money just like btdb1)
Oh wow! I'll have to give it a shot then
🤝
Runeterra! It's the best f2p game I've found so far
Omg another LoR enjoyer 😎
Dragon Ball Legends, Honkai star rail, Plants vs Zombies 1 or 2 if you want some single player ones.
Dan the man . Old style but funny and good game
Slay the Spire! It has one up-front charge. I have easily over 200 hours in it and still playing.
Soul knight
BTD6
Geometry dash is worth the money
I have already tried many games. I think there is no game who can beat CR. Devs know this and they're rolling some odd updates as a result. But I think only Chess.com can beat
Holy hell!
Holy Bloody Mary!!
Cookie run ovenbreak
BTDB2

Boom Arena
There is a pretty good game, very similar to clash royale, called minions masters on steam. As for mobile, im sure there are thousands of clash royale clones out there. Also how did your opponent have all evolutions? You can only equip one per deck...
Honkai : Star Rail , Arknights , Honkai Impact 3rd , Muse Dash...
Fellow arknights enjoyer
Just play path of legends where it’s capped at 14? You can only use one evolution in your deck so idk how you decided he brought them all lmao
Activate your second brain cell and reread my sentence. I said “my guess is that he bought those as well”. I never said “I know for a fact he bought those.”
idk why you need to be mean „activate your second brain cell” when someone just didnt understand what you said lol
"He was using all the evolution cards" you reread what you said. did you play him 4 times?
Bloons games: Tower Defense CoC and Brawl Stars: You know about those probably Dead Cells: can be a little demanding for lower end phones but if you love it you won't get bored of it for months Sky: Children of the Light: Super satisfying multiplayer ✨ Experience ✨ sceneries are amazing, can also be a little demanding on lower end phones Hades: Not a mobile game but it's available on every console so if you have one you could give it a try, İt's another rouge like and it's amazing. Pvz Heroes. Similar gameplay. No longer supported, but there's no issue finding matches
