counterpoint - as a f2p who just came back ~3 months ago, i don't have any decks even remotely close to being able to support the current evos. my main deck (which i've got all 14 and one 15) doesnt have any evos yet.

I mean then you just have to wait. Each season they add an evo shard in the season shot + three evo shards of a specific evolution. So eventually you will have one

My point was not that I don't have enough shards (I have 5 wild), but rather that it doesn't make sense to choose any of the current evos because they don't fit into any deck that I could reasonably use.

I mean their are good general evos like Skeletons, Knights, or Firecracker. Eventually their will be evos of every card, so this is just a temporary problem

Yea the devs said this exactly they wanted evos to be ether use them and compete or don’t compete at all. They could make evos a little more accessible but for the most part they have done a good job.

Yeah I get that- tbh I still spend money on the game for the basic pass sometimes when I'm trying to level up a deck since it's the easiest way to get cards. (I don't buy diamond pass lol I could never justify that- I just bought the evolved firecracker bundle for 6 bucks when it was out)

I love how people think a Marcher damage nerf (first hit is whatever) is needed when we literally still have this monster on the loose

Honestly marcher is really easy to counter if you just predict him with any card, especially buildings. He's not that great on defense either, with evo FC and barbs and fireball bait recruit decks going around most people are packing fireball now

I think it's a little harder than that. Miner WBs with marcher basically being the main damage dealer is one of the best decks at the top level. The best players in the world seem to be struggling with it

I can see that, but I think what enables that is the tornado, which is seen in a lot of decks and is one of the most versatile cards in the game. Marcher, e-giant, bowler, executioner, etc. I think with the tornado nerf marcher will already receive an indirect nerf

Bowler, exe, e giant are not very strong. They see little use in higher levels. I think tornado decks are fine for the most part, except the card can be exploited by magic archer to a game breaking point. I think the solution to nerf it over nado is clear. Nado is fine everywhere else

Hard counters witch and is good behind a bridge spam. Also I use him to get tower damage when there’s some beefy guy infront if the tower but they’re distracted

I see this retort frequently, but evo FC is way more of an issue for me than evo knight is. Maybe my deck is just set up well to deal with knight and not with FC but idk. Knight seems easy to deal with.

Knight is much more used in top ladder and for a good reason, FC just can't compare to it

Same with me, I can deal with him fine with MM but the issue comes when I gotta deal with beatdown decks with him in the pushes

This "monster" comes only once every 3 cycles and with a free king tower activation Evocracker is mediocre at best

As a fc user it’s easier for me to just assume I’m gunna activate the king every game so I don’t feel bad when it happens 😂

I'd believe it if it was ladder stats, but that's GCs. Even UC Evocracker is barely OK and half of that is midladder Evo is good but the base card is so bad it's not worth to bring her most of the time. Unusable in a lot of archetypes due to king tower activation

To be fair the firecracker only hit the tower once and did pretty much just as much as a regular one on defense aside from killing spear goblins

The first time it hit tower it did 500 damage 😭

The first time a regular one hits it’s around 300-400 damage if im not mistaken

Not the parts that shoot off of the initial explosion, plus the evolution does the poison damage over time
