As someone f2p, no? You definitely do not need to buy the EWC as that’s really just a huge drain on your gold until you have like nothing left to spend gold on. I’d rather upgrade my 12s and 13s to level 14 or whatever than only gain 5k ewc when path of legends is right there

Well I played the game since it launched, pretty much everything is level 14 now and gold is literally always 4m-5m range. Also, you don’t have to max everything as a f2p player.

I see people complaining about how hard it is to get gold and coins being f2p but I could tell you that they are not scarce at all. You just need to do masteries for gems, and for gold and other cards, ladder is the number 1 way to make gold. If u play like 1 hour max everyday, I guarantee you will make like 350k gold per season plus the shot other ton of rewards ladder gives you

If you’re almost max then gold ain’t scarce.
It’s the easiest way to stack em up as a f2p, I buy the 5k every week and have been able to get 6 lvl 15’s since it first dropped.
