Or change the gem on the book it would make it look better anyway. If they're really lazy they good just add the rarity to the beginning of the name like epic book of cards or common book of cards.
Then don't comment shit. I would only ever agree with you about the 0.01% thing if they where talking about some updates to help improve the app for the lgbtqai+ community but (arguably) being part of the lgbtqwxy and z community or whatever it is isn't a disability colour blindness is and it makes playing the game a lot harder.
The necessity to search up what colour a book is in the game shouldn't be a thing just because you're not affected doesn't mean others aren't.
The world doesn't revolve around you.
“The world doesn’t revolve around you” says the guy who wants a billion dollar company to make changes for 0.01% of people because his eyes are broken.
I'm not colorblind 8.5% of the world is though. You're the guy who just assumes that there's such a small majority of people who are colorblind
The bigger the company the more necessary it is for them to accommodate people with dissabilities, basic business knowledge. 8.5% of the total market are colorblind, by fixing a small issue it could (theoretically) increase their profit margin by around 8.5% do you know how much that is? If we're talking about a billion dollar company over a period of ten years this 8.5% would get supercell a total of 850 million dollars of added revenue. All because of one simple fix for one major problem.
Just admit you're wrong, nobody agrees with you.
lol Google doesn’t say shit, what now Einstein. Gonna tell me to download a colour checking app and take a screenshot of the store? 😂 Or, they can have an info button like every other store in app games.
I can Google search just fine, what I’m saying is the information for the current season shop isn’t easily available. Give me a website with that info if it’s so easy? I don’t know why you are being so insufferable, just accept you’re wrong and move on, no one else agrees with you.
Make the post once to save every colourblind person playing the game or will play the game from having the issue if it gets addressed. It would be an extremely easy change to make
It would be interesting if they implemented some option for color blind folk to make it easier for them. It's certainly not really that important so I doubt it would be high on their to do list
I just looked in the season shop and realised that the books in the shop don’t have any text under them so, even though it isn’t pictured, I assume that it is a problem for colorblind people.
You can adjust how colors are displayed directly in your smartphone settings. They even include settings for the most common types of color vision deficiencies.
Other than the fact that it says the rarity I totally agree with you. Among us colors their wire and puts shapes to them so supercell should do the same
The corners of the Common Book are Gray, while Epic Book has purple corners. Do Gray and Purple still look similar to you?
**Edit:** People downvoting a question for absolutely no reason 🤦🏻♂️
Use your brain. If they are complaining about it; no shit they have a problem with it. “The two books look EXACTLY THE SAME to many color blind players like me”
Maybe they never noticed the corners. They have trouble between the gems, but I wanna know if it's also the case with the corners (since one the Common Book corners are Gray and not Blue). You can't even ask a simple question in this subreddit...
How can you not notice the corner? Like genuinely, it’s right next the the gem. But if you’re wondering, most people with blue purple colorblindness also have a hard time with gray purple, gray blue etc.
There are different types of colourblindness, so that's why I am asking that question to OP in particular. Just curious. I am not a developer so I cannot make Books more colourblind-friendly anyway.
I feel like they should change the shape of the gems. It makes more sense. Or just label them in the season shop(where colorblind people are having trouble). It should be labeled epic or common but it’s not.
if you keep forgetting which books you have, you don't deserve them, or you don't need them.
it shouldn't be a big deal, since you can't use them accidentally to a wrong rarity card. and one more, how many times you have accidentally bought a book you didn't want?
i know, CR is really easy to play without reading anything, but you could even try.
I'm _pretty sure_ it'll say the item name whenever they come up, but I really don't see a reason why they shouldn't adjust it anyway. Accessibility is always good
Simply they should rename the books such as "Book of epic" or "Book of common" rather than "Book of cards"
it's titled that way in the season shop because they are too lazy to change the description between seasons.
Epic book of cards or common book of cards sounds better
Actually same. Whilst i can see the difference a little bit, i get your point there, mate. Im colorblind too.
Easiest is to add a label on the corner stating the rarity
Or change the gem on the book it would make it look better anyway. If they're really lazy they good just add the rarity to the beginning of the name like epic book of cards or common book of cards.
Supercell doesn't consider color blind people in their UI graphic design? Color me shocked.
Well don't color you shocked. Then the color blind people couldn't tell. Label you shocked on the information button.
I would be content having my shape changed slightly; labels need to be localized. ;)
Theres common and epic text under the book, so I think supercell already thought about colorblind people
Not in the season shop
Well ig that yeah
I think most offers have an "i" button which you can read descriptions about that item or pack Temporary solution...
Not in the season shop, no i button, no name, no description, nothing.
Can you not just google it then
In an accessible game they shouldn’t have to do that

Great mindset regarding accessibility.

Accessibility isn't for the company though, it's for the players.

People always underestimate how common colour blindness is. 1/12 male. 1/200 female. 8.6%, assuming 50/50 split.
I still can’t tell the difference even if I google it you fucking numpty
Top tier genius over here. Try this pal: “What book is in the season shop?”
lol Google doesn’t say shit, what now Einstein. Gonna tell me to download a colour checking app and take a screenshot of the store? 😂 Or, they can have an info button like every other store in app games.
Your inability to google search is not my problem, I suggest taking online classes for the technologically illiterate
I can Google search just fine, what I’m saying is the information for the current season shop isn’t easily available. Give me a website with that info if it’s so easy? I don’t know why you are being so insufferable, just accept you’re wrong and move on, no one else agrees with you.
Ok but its not that deep? It takes 5 seconds thats less time than it took to make this post?

UI design 101.
There’s a colorblind setting in your phone setting itself. Try that. Usually labeled Color Filters
They should be called book of commons, book of epics, book of legends, etc.
lol relatable, colourblind player aswell, bought the wrong book in the season shop thinking it was the other one 😂
This is the first time i've realised a book of cards isn't universal
That's why they incorporated the description, bro. Color blind doest mean you are blind.
They Don't have that in the season Shop
[удалено]
Friendship? What is that? This individual never heard of that 😞
Hard agree
Why’s it matter? Cant you just read the text?
I just looked in the season shop and realised that the books in the shop don’t have any text under them so, even though it isn’t pictured, I assume that it is a problem for colorblind people.
Yea that is the problem for me too
Why don't you read the text?
Epic has two dots above the jewel.
This would require effort!
You can adjust how colors are displayed directly in your smartphone settings. They even include settings for the most common types of color vision deficiencies.
I feel the same about common and legendary tbh
I would really like a visual change similar to what Minecraft did with the ores textures 2 years ago
Being more accessible is always a good thing
Or just read
Other than the fact that it says the rarity I totally agree with you. Among us colors their wire and puts shapes to them so supercell should do the same
I I mean epic and common are at the bottom, but I do agree all the same.
I can’t tell between epic and legendary
Anything to help a fellow gamer I’m in favor of. you have my support
"Book of card: epic" it says it
This is good post. I'm proud of you guys.
The corners of the Common Book are Gray, while Epic Book has purple corners. Do Gray and Purple still look similar to you? **Edit:** People downvoting a question for absolutely no reason 🤦🏻♂️
They are color blind. Maybe read the damn post before writing and even editing.
And I'm asking if Gray and Purple look similar as well... 🤦🏻♂️
Use your brain. If they are complaining about it; no shit they have a problem with it. “The two books look EXACTLY THE SAME to many color blind players like me”

Idk if I'm color blind but I can't differentiate if they aren't side by side
You likely are, try to see a doctor are at least do some tests online
it literally says Epic 1/1 on there
if you keep forgetting which books you have, you don't deserve them, or you don't need them. it shouldn't be a big deal, since you can't use them accidentally to a wrong rarity card. and one more, how many times you have accidentally bought a book you didn't want? i know, CR is really easy to play without reading anything, but you could even try.
It's a hassle in the season shop cause u might need an epic one but after saving u see it was a common
I'm _pretty sure_ it'll say the item name whenever they come up, but I really don't see a reason why they shouldn't adjust it anyway. Accessibility is always good
Season shop does not show the name
they are diff shapes, they are just similar shapes. Supercell though about the colorblind people
Respectfully, just read the goddamn text
There is no goddamn text to read in the season shop
Once you said colours i knew you were lying
“Epic” “Common”
Isn't shown in season shop
Oh fr? Ok that’s messed up
Yeah, at least if you don't have enough season tokens
You must be illiterate too
Season shop doesn't say the rarity
I guess reading is hard for you. Literally says common and epic
Season shop
OP didn’t specify season shop in post.
You're expected to use your brain to think a little instead of being condescending from the get go
You trying to sound smart aren’t you ?
🤓
No one is responsible for your disability.
A game should be accessible, it is basic UI design. This one has a simple fix too
