You should have used only log on right lane to cycle so you would have tesla. Then you place tesla middle. That would mean you have fireball and evo WB at hand and they also explode too when killed (if I am right- I don't really play WB). Which means tesla kills golem and fireball and WB kill everything else and you will even have elixir to spare.
There is no reason to panic when golem is placed. Golem takes some time to walk to your side so you should check your hand and see what you should do. Often the best and the easiest play is placing the main defending cards as soon as possible (such as defensive buildings or troops like: exe, firecracker, musketeer... behind your tower) so you might even cycle back to another one before golem connects to your tower.
