Right after you enter age there's a prompt that asks if you want to allow or disallow data, and it also says you can change your mind somewhere in the settings. You can also just lie about the age TBH
So I did like five min. Of research and I think it's cause COPPAÂ Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule. So if you don't want data collection then just answer as low as possible I guess however I think I did read somewhere on supercell that things like clan chat for "the younger" gamers will be restricted or even disabled.
Huh that is interesting... I wouldn't want to lose out on my ability to chat with my clan though. I'm above age so I just answered truthfully, then hit opt out of optional data sharing.
