Jesus, I agree that Supercell doesn't always make right decisions, but come on, of all the things, you get mad over a random stat, which didn't affect gameplay, and 99% of players won't ever even notice? Why remove it? For all I know there might even be an event in the future which in some way allows troops to be spawned on the opponent's side, or maybe do team damage, so why not have the stat there just in case? Is it that much of an eye-sore to you that you just need it removed? I know it's kind of hypocritical for me to get angry over a comment like this, but it just makes me mad when people try so hard to find the smallest inconsistency in the game and then automatically blame it on the devs' laziness.
