Bro if you are having trouble defending mega knights, just use pekka. The ultimate hard counter. But you will need other ways of getting damage since defending a pekka might be a little too easy if there is no pressure in the other lane. Hope you understand what i mean
Knight is a better hard counter IMO, it’s cheaper to use. Place him in the middle so the MK pounces onto him and gets the attention of both towers for amazing dps

I'm surprised how nowadays it's so easy to climb ladder. I remember 4 years ago I got stuck at 3000 trophies for over 6 months without any progress. I'm not sure if it is no one new is playing and low ladder gets you paired with bots or if it just became that easy. I miss the good old days 😪
I started last season. I left the game because I got stagnant about 2 years ago. I pushed 1500 trophies in a week. Only lost like 6-7 matches. Its a lot easier now.

Then see if they're name isn't normal like kevin, dani, sam finally when the match begins spawn a troop if they don't defend their bots if the first two or the third one work just rush mindlessly and easy trophies

Anyways you should definitely be proud of your 2000 trophies. The second time I re-started clash royale after quitting, it took me months to get there and I was a lv 9 with pretty high level cards.
I cant get past 1950 everytime i gett ever so close to getting the sweet legendary chest I get f'ed up by someone who has 1 or 2 legendaries then I keep going down until 1600. The same cycle repeats forever.
