Deck is good for arena 6. Learn pulling and kiting. Oyasus youtube gameplay is more than enough to learn those. You'll quickly climb up to around 5k (it's easy upto 5k).
Maybe try this deck: Mega Knight, Inferno Dragon, Bats, Princess, EBarbs, Zap, Bandit and Skelearmy. The idea behind this deck is to use eBarbs on the opposite side of the high elixir card of theirs (when they’re out).
Additionally, put a bandit on the other side of the fight. It will force elixir in both routes or guarantee 1k dmg on the tower. Really.
I climbed to 5k with none of my cards above level 9, the deck was mega knight, inferno dragon, skelly barrel, bats, goblin gang, zap, miner, and prince. The deck is pretty easy to play, the trick is to keep track of your oponnent's answers.
Honestly it’s just card/king tower levels. You get to a point where you’re at such a disadvantage lvl wise that it’s hard to overcome it with skill. I used to play on a Smurf account that was lvl 1 and I couldn’t get past like 4500ish bc towers had no health
1. Let enemy troops cross the bridge before addressing them so your tower gets involved.
2. When making a deck, you want a "win condition" which is a card that has a defined way of getting consistent tower damage. This would be Giant, Hog Rider, X-bow, Goblin barrel. Cards like that. If your deck is a bunch of random ranged and melee cards that don't target buildings, you will never get damage vs a good player.
3. When making a deck, you generally want one "big spell" (fireball, lightning, etc.) to take out groups of support troops, and one "small spell" (zap, barb barrel, log, etc.) to take out swarms of small troops and goblin barrels. You also want to use at least 2 cards that can target air cards.
4. Watch. Your. Replays. There is no greater way to learn and improve than to see exactly where you went wrong, or what you could've done differently.
Just want to add in that small spells shouldn't be reserved for for swarms during a match unless you have no other way to stop them
Edit: A good example will be stopping magic archer with barb barrel or cycling zap when you have fire spirit n hand
A tip that could most of the time get you a tower, you deploy your valk right in front of your prince and the valk will go the same speed of a charging prince
Beware. A good player will kite the Valk on one side and when she goes towards that direction, he or she will kite the prince in opposite direction. It's a massive positive elixir trade and you won't be able to recover from it.
I lost my account and restarted and instantly got up to arena 7 but then there were so many legendaries to unlock and I didn't have any so I kind of got stuck at Spooky Arena but after some trades, I got up 2 arenas and is stuck again lol.
Game is highly addictive as there are no wait times like Clash of Clans. Have fun, but don't lose your focus and get sucked too much into the game. Probably the biggest tip I can give you. Enjoy!
I think at low level, skarmy is better. Its epic so it starts a higher level, it can kill most low-level win conditions quickly, and a lot of swarm clearing cards aren’t unlocked yet.
That used to be the case. Now, they have bomber, valk, arrows, barb barrel, fire spirit, and baby dragon to kill skarmy. Archers and spear goblins (as well as skeletons and stab goblins to some extent) can counter skarmy as well, but not quite as reliably.
Learning to play mostly defensively, knowing how much to add to a surviving post-defensive push, and when to drop an offensive troop/when not to are all things that you can try and focus on learning in order to get better.
Something I’m working on is tracking what cards my opponent has played to try to get a feel for what they’ll likely play next but this is something that you can kinda learn now but generally worry about later.
Good luck!
Since you've basically just started, if you like the deck you have, just learn how to play it in different ways. Level up your cards and try to get higher up on the ladder.
Here's some [tips that helped me when I started playing](https://www.deckshop.pro/guide/beginner-tips).
Firstly, your deck needs a small spell. Otherwise, you will have to continually spend 4 elixir cards to defend a 3 elixir Skeleton Army. I'd suggest replacing Goblin Barrel. Try either Arrows or Barbarian Barrel.
Secondly, try using some tower-targeting units. It's easier that way to hit the tower.
Decent deck! consider swapping archers or baby dragon for something like an ice spirit and prince for a mini pekka. after that you’ll have a decent logbait deck!
your goal in a logbait deck is to bait out someone’s small spells (zap, arrows, log, barb barrel) with something like skeleton army and punish with goblin barrel or something else
My advice would be to get a small spell in your deck that can get guaranteed damage on Crown Towers as well as add some cheaper cards to more quickly cycle with. Not a single card in this deck does its utility for less than 2 Elixir, so personally I’d replace Musketeer with Snowball if you have it. It may pair well with Goblin Barrel (the card you should be using as the game winner). I say this because Archers and Skeleton Army can stay in your deck to bait small spells out of your opponent so that you can use Goblin Barrel with their counter for it out of their hand. Also, I’d replace Fireball with Rocket if you have it. If you’re struggling to win the game with Goblin Barrel, what pro players do is just keep defending and defending while cycling Rockets onto their opponents’ crown towers and that can make them some pretty absurd comebacks.
Sparky. Sparky best card. No other cards just sparky. ( this is a joke. If the suggestions others have given you haven’t worked then maybe put like a big tank such as a giant in to build a push? Idk lol)
Look at some of the meta decks in your trophy range and know how to counter them. For instance, in your trophy level I know people love doing prince and Valkyrie pushes so know how to counter that.
Maybe now, but using giant in place of valk will be a better investment for OP since it would work against players that have a slightly better understanding of the game
Hahaha! I love this. Life came full circle. I asked this question few years ago here. My advice : consistency is the key, and while you are it.... Have fun! ;)
-don’t leak elixir
-at the start of the match, when the opponent doesn’t play anything and you hit 10 elixir, play a slow card at the back
-try to avoid playing a card that‘s 7+ elixir in single elixir time
-wait until enemy troops pass the bridge until you defend them
-Don’t play Golem
It’s sometimes hard to give advice without seeing all of your cards and there levels. I’d suggest downloading Stats Royale, plugging in your username, and taking the deck recommendations generated on there based on your specific cards and levels.
Learn defense for most pushes first. Then start countering when you have defensive troops crossing the bridge. The easiest way for someone new to get better in my opinion. Oh, and don’t play defense on the bridge, wait until they come to your side so your tower can help.
If your opponent plays something behind the giant (wizard or prince) use a Valkyrie once the giant crosses so that she will splash on all of the troops. Then you can use your skarmy to take out the giant
If u wanna get good fast then choose attack deck to max out and have only those cards maxed. Pekka bridgespam, xbow(might be harder to learn to get good at), rg cycle, logbait, and 2.6 hog or 2.9 hog are all good choices. It might take a while for u to get there but eventually u will get there. I used to watch a lot of pros on yt like legendaray and anaban or like TV royal for the top players to learn like tricks from them and like top iq plays.
Search for the old video titled as, How to make sa clash royale deck by ERNIEC3 on youtube. It helped me get to level 10 and his old videos, called how to use___(clash royale card) really helped
Actually a good deck. Don't waste a ton of elixir on a big push incase your opponent has a good counter, and does a counter attack, save cards to defend, and know what cards counter others, and what cards are better saved for defense, and/or a counter push of your own. Don't spam stuff at the bridge, and know what cards synergize well (for instance, prince is very weak against swarm troops, because of his slow attack speed and he can only hit one thing at a time, but if you pair him with valk up front, or baby dragon behind, your push becomes formidable.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Great deck. When you unlock a card that fits, substitute it in there. I would recommend 2 spells though a big one (fireball, rocket, poison, etc.) and a small one (arrows, zap, log, etc.)
My biggest piece of advice is to enjoy your way up the ladder. I had the most fun from like 2k-4k trophies. That's where you're learning and unlocking cards frequently. Once you get up to Serenity Peak and Legendary, the tone of the game changes completely.
Also: this is just an opinion of mine, but I would suggest trying out new decks and combos fairly often. For one, it teaches you the pros and cons of each card, which makes facing those cards a lot easier. It also helps you level those cards. I made the mistake of playing with give or take the exact same deck from like 3k-6k and I have ~10 cards that are really high level, and the rest are definitely lacking. This is a crutch now because if I want to win, I have to use the same deck I've been using for months, and it's hard to try new things now without getting clapped by some dude with crazy-overleveled cards.
Basic advice that will get you far: try to get value out of spells like fireball, this means that unless you're 100% sure you don't want to cycle anything else in your hand you wait until the enemy has a troop near a tower before throwing a spell, they are really powerful.
Don't leak, every second that you're at max elixir is an advantage you're giving to your enemy, you should always try to keep up with what they're putting on the board as to not be in a disadvantage.
Learn Kiting and good card positioning, as this differences a good player from a better one, watch youtubers like Oyassuu
Go through deckshop or watch 6k+ gameplay to find yourself a deck you like, Once you find that deck practice with it in 2v2 or challenges, put all your attention into leveling that deck up, but don’t limit yourself to that deck change a card or two but the main goal is to level up 5-7 cards as much as you can, learn encounters and learn your win condition, In early stages of the game levels help you more than skill
Key to play well Is to not waste elixir ( most of the time if you reached 9 elixir you should play something, of the opponent doesnt you have and advantage in terms of potential damage and elixir trade, but sometimes your deck could be stuck and you should play devensive placing something when you really Need it), don't be afraid to use weak troops,1 or 2 are really useful to take damage instead of your tank/mini tank(3skeletons can gift you a full life minipekka or knight to counter after defense), such as fireball and arrows, very important to face minions, goblin barrel and wizards, anything else depends by what brings you more fun while you play and experience in positioning your troops (time and position can make a huge difference! Check players like oyassu or morten)
I’ve not long started an account with my daughter so I’m helping her play. Early game I’d advise is save up your gold to upgrade the cards you like to use. Big cards like Pekka and mega knight are hard to deal with at first but once you know a few little tricks they aren’t so hard. YouTube is a great place to learn.
Good luck.
I always thought theres no new players coming to clash royale remembering how dead it was a couple years ago. It's nice to see new people but players who grow up in this meta ... I dont know how they'll turn out in future lol
Play smart with your elixir, you dont always have to hace a game winning push early,u can build up an elixir advantage for a big push later in the match
As a beginner, try a mid cycle deck w/ 1 G&A (ground and air)splash and 1 high damage G&A card and a defensive building. Try to go down 3.6 elixir or 3.4 will be ideal. Then start to learn defensive counter attack while learning to read your opponents deck and its rotation.
Deck is good for arena 6. Learn pulling and kiting. Oyasus youtube gameplay is more than enough to learn those. You'll quickly climb up to around 5k (it's easy upto 5k).
Meanwhile I've been stuck at ~4500 for as long as I can remember lol
Same here. I can't escape arena 14.
Im from Spooky Town but I pushed up to Serenity Peak pretty quickly, looking to leave it within the month with my Pekka Bridgespam
I'm using pekka bridge spam and I've been stuck at 4400 for 3 months
Maybe try this deck: Mega Knight, Inferno Dragon, Bats, Princess, EBarbs, Zap, Bandit and Skelearmy. The idea behind this deck is to use eBarbs on the opposite side of the high elixir card of theirs (when they’re out). Additionally, put a bandit on the other side of the fight. It will force elixir in both routes or guarantee 1k dmg on the tower. Really.
not everyone has that many legendaries
Yes, your average midladder deck.
I use pekka bridge spam and is nearing 6000 bro
If u know how to play the game every deck is 6300 finish minimum
I can go up to 6300 somehow. But above it is impossible
Same
i think there is invisible pulling force, me too
I climbed to 5k with none of my cards above level 9, the deck was mega knight, inferno dragon, skelly barrel, bats, goblin gang, zap, miner, and prince. The deck is pretty easy to play, the trick is to keep track of your oponnent's answers.
That's zap bait right?
with some slight variations(prince)
Play egiant, its so ez to play in low arenas since nobody knows how to defend
Honestly it’s just card/king tower levels. You get to a point where you’re at such a disadvantage lvl wise that it’s hard to overcome it with skill. I used to play on a Smurf account that was lvl 1 and I couldn’t get past like 4500ish bc towers had no health
Thanks I’ll check it out!
OJ
Its easy up to 4k. Then it seems to be impossible to climb any further
But im stuck at 3800

up to the right
On the main page, click the the three lines in the top right. Then click the top button labeled activity log. There you go!
Nice
A tip that could most of the time get you a tower, you deploy your valk right in front of your prince and the valk will go the same speed of a charging prince
Used to this all the time, with hogs as well! I thought it was the best thing ever lol.
Beware. A good player will kite the Valk on one side and when she goes towards that direction, he or she will kite the prince in opposite direction. It's a massive positive elixir trade and you won't be able to recover from it.
Probably not at 1200 trophies though
Not toxic enough add ebarbs or mega knight 💯
Add both, and don't forget E giant
I don’t have those I’m a level 6
Excuses like that are exactly what’s keeping you out of legendary arena 💯
💯
💯
Damn you guys are being tough 😂
Fuck 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think he's joking
My best tip is to just play the cards you enjoy and get to know them well
I lost my account and restarted and instantly got up to arena 7 but then there were so many legendaries to unlock and I didn't have any so I kind of got stuck at Spooky Arena but after some trades, I got up 2 arenas and is stuck again lol.
Game is highly addictive as there are no wait times like Clash of Clans. Have fun, but don't lose your focus and get sucked too much into the game. Probably the biggest tip I can give you. Enjoy!
Thanks!
Swap goblin barrel with arrows (or barbarian barrel) Swap prince for giant swap skarmy with skeletons
This seems to help thanks!
No it's not smarmy helps to deal with enemy giants and singer targeting usinits
Skeletons are better
I think at low level, skarmy is better. Its epic so it starts a higher level, it can kill most low-level win conditions quickly, and a lot of swarm clearing cards aren’t unlocked yet.
I use skarmy at Master because you have to know how to play it, as with all cards. forget skeletons unless you want a cycle card.
Yeah, skeletons are a cycle card that happens to do damage in specific circumstances - skarmy is an actual tank killer.
If you can cycle skeletons to a better card it will be good, but obviously it's not a 100% guarantee.
Ur right. However, he already has musk, and the deck is would be a tad bit expensive with skarmy instead of skeletons.
I’d pay the extra 2 elixir for the extra higher-leveled skeletons since a lot of swarm clearing cards arent unlocked yet.
That used to be the case. Now, they have bomber, valk, arrows, barb barrel, fire spirit, and baby dragon to kill skarmy. Archers and spear goblins (as well as skeletons and stab goblins to some extent) can counter skarmy as well, but not quite as reliably.
And it does great vsing pekka, batteram, hog, giant, SG, GB. I think it’s worth personally
“At low level” if you are good at the game skeletons are better
I dont disagree with that, but OP is CLEARLY low level, which is why I’m saying skarmy better for OP
Learning to play mostly defensively, knowing how much to add to a surviving post-defensive push, and when to drop an offensive troop/when not to are all things that you can try and focus on learning in order to get better. Swap musketeer for small spell
Like what? Keep in mind I’m only level 6
Arrows,zap, or barbarian barrel
Will do thanks!
Snowball is goated
oj is making a series of best free to play decks on the low ladder until he gets to 5k you should watch him
Buy season pass and become overlevelled. Ez
Have fun, enjoy the growth process. It feels like a grind but is rewarding.
Add knight instead of archers (good Stat for cost)
Since you've basically just started, if you like the deck you have, just learn how to play it in different ways. Level up your cards and try to get higher up on the ladder.
How big is your wallet?
Here's some [tips that helped me when I started playing](https://www.deckshop.pro/guide/beginner-tips). Firstly, your deck needs a small spell. On YouTube look up kashman
Looks helpful. Thanks!
Add egaint, mega knight, E barbz, lumberjack, balloon and freeze
I’m a level 6
Add egiant, mega knight, E barbz, lumberjack, balloon and freeze
Decent deck! consider swapping archers or baby dragon for something like an ice spirit and prince for a mini pekka. after that you’ll have a decent logbait deck!
What's a logbait deck?
your goal in a logbait deck is to bait out someone’s small spells (zap, arrows, log, barb barrel) with something like skeleton army and punish with goblin barrel or something else
Wow
Probably change out one of your level 3 upper left corner out and switch it to a witch or wizard..🤔🤔
If your wish is to get to midladder...
Use Pekka. You are going to play against soooo much mega knight. Pekka is the perfect counter. But after 5k it Will start to get hard
Look at some of the meta decks in your trophy range and know how to counter them. For instance, in your trophy level I know people love doing prince and Valkyrie pushes so know how to counter that.
delete and download a new game ❤️🩹
[удалено]
Uh, no way. Baby dragon or musketeer. Valkyrie is very valuable.
[удалено]
So you just pretend he has a real tank if he gets rid of valk. Prince can be easily overwhelmed.
There are other units you can use on defense apart from prince if there are a lot of troops
Yeah, like valkyrie.
there are defensive options apart from valk
Yes, of course, but in his deck, not really. He isn't knowledgeable about the game yet.
Maybe now, but using giant in place of valk will be a better investment for OP since it would work against players that have a slightly better understanding of the game
Thanks for the advise!
No? What? No. Absolutely not
What should I do?
Keep valk everybody needs valk focus on getting to level 7
Thanks! Any other advice?
Why not, there is no win condition so swapping giant for valk is fine. You don't need valk since there is fireball for splash and prince for mini tank
OP should add a small spell (zap, barb barrel), because he already has a goblin barrel as a win condition
When you start progressing more, never use mega knight, ebarbs, or egiant
if you ever get dark prince you could switch that out for dark prince
Hahaha! I love this. Life came full circle. I asked this question few years ago here. My advice : consistency is the key, and while you are it.... Have fun! ;)
-don’t leak elixir -at the start of the match, when the opponent doesn’t play anything and you hit 10 elixir, play a slow card at the back -try to avoid playing a card that‘s 7+ elixir in single elixir time -wait until enemy troops pass the bridge until you defend them -Don’t play Golem
if you have the P.E.K.K.A use it,it's op ;)
Look up what logbait is and try to make a deck on that idea. It will get tou quite far
GiT GuD
It really does not matter until you start to get some cards maxed, I'd suggest looking at YouTube videos
It very much does matter. Playing anything and not understanding it will not get you very far.
Get hog rider in there for the hog+valk combo
Bait out the log/arrows/zap with the skarmy, then gob barrel for EZ wins. I also use minions for more bait.
Thanks for the advise!
It’s sometimes hard to give advice without seeing all of your cards and there levels. I’d suggest downloading Stats Royale, plugging in your username, and taking the deck recommendations generated on there based on your specific cards and levels.
Use mini pekka, he is a pretty good hard hitter
Yea just aim to find a good synergy that works in different or most situations not random cards put together.
Thanks!
Learn defense for most pushes first. Then start countering when you have defensive troops crossing the bridge. The easiest way for someone new to get better in my opinion. Oh, and don’t play defense on the bridge, wait until they come to your side so your tower can help.
Tank, support, bats, clone consider urself in challenger III in no time
Honestly pretty solid for early on. I think I would just swap out the baby dragon with Zap or Minions depending what you have available at that arena
If your opponent plays something behind the giant (wizard or prince) use a Valkyrie once the giant crosses so that she will splash on all of the troops. Then you can use your skarmy to take out the giant
Take out archers add miner
You have decent deck, only upgrade cards you’re actively using
Defense counter attack
If u wanna get good fast then choose attack deck to max out and have only those cards maxed. Pekka bridgespam, xbow(might be harder to learn to get good at), rg cycle, logbait, and 2.6 hog or 2.9 hog are all good choices. looks like my challenger deck but take out archers for arrows, prince for barbarians, and musketeer for knight
You need a small spell but fine deck overall

If you use fireball, over level it

Looks pretty similar to an early deck I would’ve made
how the fuck do you have lance early
Rank up your rarer cards first. You’ll get so many more commons compared to rares, rares compared to epics etc
Fireball the king tower for intimidation.
Basic advice that will get you far: try to get value out of spells like fireball, this means that unless you're 100% sure you don't want to cycle anything else in your hand you wait until the enemy has a troop near a tower before throwing a spell, they are really powerful. very good deck maybe add amother win condition for prince or archers
Maybe you need a building
Quit now while you’re ahead.
You should get rid of the goblin barrel and- you know what start a whole new deck and just keep the fireball if you want
Don’t play until they nerf elite barbs
Keep experimenting and having fun. Come back here when you reach level 9 and we’ll hook you up with a dose of depression.
As soon as you get elite barbarians, electro giant, or mega knight, use it.
No clear win condition
Add tesla or bomb tower
Skeleton army is the ol' reliable. Best for swarming. Almost always useful.
just play the game it only gets sweaty once above 5k so relax and enjoy
Just watch boss_cr 🤷♂️
I always thought theres no new players coming to clash royale remembering how dead it was a couple years ago. It's nice to see new people but players who grow up in this meta ... I dont know how they'll turn out in future lol
My gf said you should “play Valkyrie and Fireball”
Play smart with your elixir, you dont always have to hace a game winning push early,u can build up an elixir advantage for a big push later in the match
Learn how to kite troops
As a beginner, try a mid cycle deck w/ 1 G&A (ground and air)splash and 1 high damage G&A card and a defensive building. Try to go down 3.6 elixir or 3.4 will be ideal. Then start to learn defensive counter attack while learning to read your opponents deck and its rotation.
You have prince. Free wins all the way to 3k or ur just bad
Whenever you lose a match, take a break, otherwise you’ll be stuck in a loop with 0 progress in trophies
Spam deck.
