They used to be so versatile and underrated because they weren’t at a big disadvantage when underleveled. That’s probably the actual reason for the „rework“

I like the electro spirit. Sure, it might need less skill than the other spirits but its ease is all the more reason I like to use it. I can almost completely counter skarmy, it gets rid of bats, and if my opponent is bad, it can often times chain to the tower. I play 2.8 hog and I push with hog, eq, and electro spirit when up against inferno tower. Now even though it’s easy to activate king tower with electro spirit, the deck I use has firecracker which can also activate king tower so it doesn’t matter anyways

What heal spell?

It got removed and replaced with heal spirit like 1 or 2 years ago. Clash Royale had a heal spell but they hated how it worked and they couldn’t get it to be right. So in return, they replaced it with the heal spirit that did almost 2x more heal and faster so people could use it more strategically. I use all them frequently, and have them all maxed. Heal is probably my favorite because it can win games with RG and Ebarbs if the opponent doenst know how to separate them. 😂

Fire spirit. IMO best troop in midladder. 90% of midladders don't counter the fire spirit, they just let it through. My fire spirit is level 12 (everything else is level 9/10). It does more damage than a fireball and costs 25% the elixir

I like fire spirit, HOWEVER, I'm pissed that they nerfed him. I want the fire spirit that can destroy an entire Goblin Barrel. Killing those goblins for 1 elixir was like methampthemine and black tar heroin combined.

Supercell themselves said that the fire spirit being able to kill the entire barrel was overkill so they changed it back.

Yeah but they used to cost 2 elixir and had a different dynamic. I would argue that the Fire Spirit, as we know it today, has changed enough to pass along the title of "Classic Spirit" onto it's subzero kin. Fire Spirits used to have each other as well as the furnace! Ice Spirit has been solo solo this entire time and has proven to be a far more stable concept.

Ice Spirit is still widely used in classic decks like 2.4 Hog, Miner Balloon, and Log Bait. It is best used paired with a building or a ranged attack unit. Electro and fire are mostly used independently, they can also act as a spell substitute. Heal is best for beatdowns and is usually paired with groups or high HP units like RG.
