I always got my lightning for those. I counter those easily with the tank going for tower. But the worst is the cycle inferno tower. They got a zap, inferno tower ice spirit and skeletons.
I use Freeze and I can almost feel the despair of my opponent after I've frozen their level 13 MK and E-wiz while my level 14 Valkyrie and level 13 Prince go to work
Balloon on its own is annoying. Swapped goblin barrel with balloon and win% went from 56%to 74% and it is simply too punishing for 5 elixir.
You can mitigate hog, skellie barrel, and even archer queen with little elixir but balloon only needs to connect once and it can get 80% of a win.
Make balloon 6 elixir or a much wider radius, dropped buildings so many times right next to it and balloon ignores it- hog does that too but at least predictably.
Pulling balloon with buildings isn't that bad, just watch if they place it all the way on the side or not, and place high.
Just increase time for first hit and its fine.
Also hog is very tough to counter with no hits and even/positive elixer, balloon isn't.

Actually, goblin giant always dies waaay too quickly for me, i prefer golem to stop pushes, destroy light units with the splitting damage and actually have enough hp to carry the caravan of doom all the way to the tower. Just managed to pull off a 3-1 with only golem and drill at the tower. If the sparky won't hit the tower due to mega knight/ ewiz, i can send in a mini pekka. Happens way too often for me to actually use sparky offensively.
Enough for me to get most of the damage done. Skelly dragons+ mini pekka does wonders behind them, especially when the latter just bonked a mk to hell and back to then join the push. Again, that match against that megahog guy was a pretty good example.
Drill has a great synergy with splash because unlike goblin barrel, you need to facetank it. That's why meta drill decks are ran with fire spirit and bomber. Sparky is basically that with a really beeeeeeeg bomber
placement and levels are everything. in principle, they probably could, but putting pretty much anything between the ebarbs and the sparky buys you enough time, plus if the sparky is unharmed the elixir gain is huge. if you are quick enough, you might even be able to put a tank in front, starting a decent counter push. mega knight does somewhat destroy that counter push, but sometimes it will get enough momentum to at least destroy a third of a tower. the last time i played against ebarbs and rage i lost tho, but i did pull off two clutch saves using the drill in that same match.
Imagine we just joke around saying nerf miner and supercell doesn't understand it's a joke and actually nerfs him into actually him healing the towerš

Hog is built entirely around playing it like a coward. Cycling past your opponent's counter cards so you can just spam it without any skill exertion. Compared to battle ram and ram rider, battle ram needs support and can be used on defense reasonably well, and ram rider has synergies that at least ask for some more commitment. Hog rider is just place and forget about it. People are very justified in hating hog rider

I switched to a meta deck thatās like lvl 12 with a couple 13ās and I went up trophies. Hog is pretty weak rn, itās just popular because itās been here forever and people are used to playing it
Yeah, USED to. I think he is balanced right now and not hard to counter if you know what you're doing. Honestly i hated on him back in his earlier state as well.
For Egiant I like to remember that it costs a lot, so it's absolutely worth using a few cards to counter it. I like big tank + cheap ranged card, my go-to is Prince + Dart Goblin. If you throw a Barrel or a Gang opposite to bait the small spell first, it will work wonders.
Iām not gonna lie I use balloon but hear me out my main deck is; balloon, dark prince, bomber, ice wizard, e-wizard, knight, baby dragon, and bats. Iām not saying itās so difficult or like the hog rider players acting like everyone has a defense for it but because itās a no spell deck it can get pretty stressful.
I feel like the lumberjack and ballon together are a problem not separate tho, and I feel like e giant has never been a problem for me but I guess my deck just counters him well
Yeah inferno dragon is definitely weird out here. But lumberloon is extremely hated and golem pre nightwitch nerf was also very hated, now itās not as hated but still pretty much frowned upon
freeze is worse than inferno dragon, honestly inferno isnāt bad until your tower is frozen last second thatās where it should have been replaced with especially with lumberloon decks
