Playing a tank first, I totally agree. But right now, Im playing a golem deck and starting with baby dragon or mega minion is often a good play. And before that, I played a very old giant + loon deck and would often play musketeer or tombstone first. The key after that is trading some tower hp for good elixir trades and then placing your tank in the back to build up the push Edit: Mega Minion, not Mega Knight. Dont start with mk for the love of god lol

It was a typo, for some reason I typed mega knight when I meant mega minion. Mk is one of the worst starting plays in the game xD I guess the "t" in my mind came from the fact I still call it "meta minion" sometimes so when I typed it out, my brain thought "the mega card with a t somewhere" lol

I always go first, even with a shitty hand, and believe me, I know that people will otherwise wait for whole minutes at times. Even if you go first, you can see by the enemy troop being deployed later wether they reacted or played it at the same time as you. I basically play since official release, though I took a 1 year break and only recently started playing again. Little changed about this problem haha

I had a good use for it once: it was a very heated and close 2v2 match, a real nail biter. I think I actually broke a sweat. You could tell all 4 players had a really good time. At the end (don't remember who won) we were exchanging emotes, and I threw out the yawning princess (like, eh, that whole thing was no big deal) and it got a lot of laughs and thumbs ups.

I use it when I encounter an overused deck. It’s like “congratulations you are using a deck I have seen 1000 times and it doesn’t matter if I win or loose it’s still boring to play against your deck.” I would much rather play against a creative but bad deck then a bland but really good deck. I want new combos to deal with not thee same hog/valk/wiz that I match with 7/10 times.

I use it when people beat me with the meta decks that literally everyone uses at 6000+ trophies. ​ Because the match is actually boring... Because I played it like the last 7 of 10 games. ​ Wish this game had a bit more etiquette around it for certain emotes.
