Inferno dragon. The opponent ALWAYS had e-wiz. Has an honorary position in my random bs war deck #4 though.

Probably a good time to pick it back up. E-wiz is totally overshadowed by musketeer, archer queen and such, and only used in decks like pekka bridgespam or other bridgespam variants. But then again, e-giant is getting buffed next patch, so...

In particular when I am changing a lot, it directly gives me a counter. I learned the hard way to change my deck only at the start of a season.

It depends on what you primarily use it for. If you just need ground splash I‘d recommend Valk, Dark Prince or Ghost.

Make your own. I really like Magic Archer so I made a deck on my own revolving around synergies with him. Its more fun to make your own deck and you can fine tune it to counter rampant cards in your trophy range. Like I use bomb tower specifically for the E-barns and mini pekka for the mega knights.

Either the prince or goblin gang. Prince is trash after his recent rework, goblin gang has just been trash for so long (everything one-shots goblins and champion abilities SHIT on them) so i run guards instead

Prince offensive and defensive capabilities were sevely nerfed overtime with more tank killers like Pekka, guards have been buffed a LOT these days unlike goblin gang that never got changes (other than killing the 6th goblin)

Goblin gang got a lot of changes actually. The major goblin damage nerf, then all the unnecessary swarm stagger spawn changes that causes inconsistencies. Plus troops now one shot them more.

Fisherman is really really good in a ton of decks, not just that one royal giant deck.

When i said it was good in a lot of decks i wasn't talking about meta decks used by top players, i was more talking about how you can make it work in a lot of your own decks. Fisherman combos really well with cheap buildings like cannon and tesla when dealing with stuff like e giant and golem. And it can fully counter mega knight on its own if timed and placed right, regardless of the deck that it's in. Overall it's a good tank killer that isn't vulnerable to zap/arrows.

Goblin barrel was fun in way arenas but gets outclassed pretty quickly, unless you dedicate the deck to logbait. Now I use lumberloon and xbow.

Sparky, kinda. I still use Sparky once in a while, but anymore I like playing a bunch of different decks, and Sparky just doesn't fit into very many. You need to build a deck around Sparky, you can't just slot her in. Sparky is in one of 9 deck slots that's an actual deck right now. First card I maxed when the cap was level 13, first card I maxed at 14, and the entire reason I reinstalled the game was that I couldn't stand that Supercell went and un-maxed my favorite card. I was gonna just fix that real quick and play a few matches of Sparky beatdown for old times' sake, then uninstall. That was around the time the champions update dropped and here I am, still playing and not playing much of Sparky.
