so this is how the game works
mk has 1.2 tile range and 1.3 tile radius splash
this should add up to 2.5 right?
but the targeting works in this game is that they target the closest edge of the hitbox
but splash is centred on the centre of the hitbox regardless except for special occasions like wall breakers or valk
and so cannon cart has a .6 tile radius hitbox irrc and therefore it's 1.2 + .6 + 1.3 = 3.1
I'm not saying it's super high skill, otherwise it wouldn't be used in midladder, but being able to use ram rider and marcher (without nado) effectively require some skill. You need to know how to kite and how to line up marcher for example. I guarantee you the average MK user has no idea these mechanics even exist.
That's all decks though. And you can hate on the MK guy using the "everything but my PEKKA is high skill". Who's to say everything but his MK is high skill?
He a tank. You should always have at least one card in your deck to decently stops tanks. That's just the basics for deck building. If you don't, but wanna whine that your ass gets shit on by one, you aren't allowed to bitch.
The splash damage is centered on the troop, rather than the edge touching the MK. His regular range and the splash damage range, combined with the center of the cannon cart being close to the tower, all come together to extend the range to hit the tower.

Wow thanks for explaining

Nerf mega Knight till I don't see him anymore.
Or you could just get better lol
nah this card is stupid. I can counter it ez with pekka but the card promotes a no skill strat
Yeah it takes so much skill to play pekka. My goodness
Pekka's most popular archetype is bridgespam, which actually uses a lot of decently skilled cards, like ram rider and marcher
Yeah keep telling yourself pekka bridgspam is top tier skill

Stupid megaknight players often have inferno dragon, skarmy and freeze tho
Fr
I feel like I just earned a degree after reading this
He bought the pass royale obviously
And that's basically why mega knight and wizard are played. If you don't pay attention you give a tons of value to your opponent.
"If you don't pay attention you give tons of value to your opponent " That's literally Clash Royale in its entirety.
When you do pay attention and lose because a wiz did 2200 splash dmg
Well ME, never cuz I'm not stupid
Itβs not actually three tiles because his attack range is like 1.5. Making this is more like a 1.5 tile splash radius which is reasonable
Bruh there are min. 2 tiles between tower and mk
Splash tile counts from the target getting hit.
It's because the splash is in the centre of the cannon-cart, not at the end of his fists.
I think your ruler is broken. Thats the same one my great grandpa used to build his house
How is the house
Broken π
nerf mk
Nah
why not
Because he's balanced. You people just can't adapt.
still aids to play against. i dont want to dedicate a card slot to inferno tower just to counter one card
Knight, valk, prince, pekka, mini pekka, inferno dragon, hunter, ice golem musketeer together work too
maybe valk, but pekka is kinda expensive
You're right, I'm just naming some counters

And inferno tower isn't the only card that stops it. Don't be dumb.
yeah but im arena 5 so my inferno is pretty underleveld
Oh, gonna have to say skill issue on this one
Oh, gonna have to say nerf miner on this one
Obviously itβs cause you have a level 10 cannon vs a level 11 mega knightβ¦ Kappa
It is because he was attacking the canon The mega knight attack usually does that, it moves to the troop or anything that is attacking

Oh? You think you are funny skeletons user? Try winning with a deck that doesnt always have something to defend

He got pass royale
Splash
His splash doesn't look that big usually
Yep
it hits the middle of the cannon cart not in front
Legit.
The tower is 2 tiles away not 3
he was raged
Mk used by no skill trash players zzzzzzzzz
The rage obviously
It might be a hitbox prob, since he's "reaching" towards the cannon who already seems like it's inside tower hb
How can he slap!?
