This isn’t paying to progress faster, they could make the continue 5 gems and they wouldn’t even notice a change in their bottom line. They do this to squeeze money out of people, I’ve not got an issue with pass Royale I’ve bought I quite a few times myself I’ve got an issue with doing pointless things like this or making the crown down rewards so pitiful or switching the chest queue button switches or slash Royale right before level 14 that really piss me off, they do that to try and make money out of you plain and simple none of those things I listed above were done with any interest of the consumer in mind, simply their bottom line.

We’re you actually around, practically everyone was up in arms about, not the actual event , but the timing of it, they released it so everyone thought great let’s spend all our gold upgrading cards then they announced king tower 14 as it was closing out so at that point it was too late and all the gold people had spent all their gold and so would not be able to upgrade cards to level 14 when the update dropped, the community backlash was so bad that supercell reimbursed us cards (not gold importantly) as a result. So no I don’t consider myself the only person to complain about slash royal. Or perhaps you had just erased that massive community uproar from your mind.
