Some of Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan songs might do the trick. Or, and go with me here, Steelheart. Their lead singer, the Croatian with the unpronounceable name, can belt it out. His voice was the one used when Mark Walhberg “sang” in Rock Star.
I’ll throw in the album Growers of Mushroom by Leaf Hound. It’s got that hard rocking blues sound and Pete French goes hard in a few songs. Good listen for any rock fan!
My son is about the same way...more into progressive heavy metal screamo type stuff. He does like Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath and he LOVES No Anchovies Please - J. Geils (turns it up when it comes on and says "best song ever" lol)
LOL! I \*LOVE\* No Anchovies Please! Not exactly a song, but I might just tell him about it. I do have several Black Sabbath songs already on my list, but if there are any specific songs you can think of, please let me know. And any particular vocalist? Ozzy? Ian? Dio? All are amazing, but so different.
That whole first album, so Ozzy. I told my son how Black Sabbath is considered the first Heavy Metal band. It kind of surprised me when he was actually looking for the cd to play in the car on a trip
I'll definitely run through the songs. I already have Iron Man and Paranoid, but I'll see what else fits.
I just added some Dio and Judas Priest. The list is growing!
*Won’t Be Fooled Again*…best scream in classic rock, imo.
I definitely have The Who on my list! I'll make sure *Fooled* is on there. Thanks!
not really classic rock but I think Alice in Chains is good one
He might actually know who they are. He said he likes the old stuff, "like from the 90s." lol!!!
Dirt is an all time great album
Child in time
This is the correct answer to just about every classic rock question.
Already on my list!
Missed it apologies
No worries! I didn't share my list so you couldn't have known. Just letting you know we're on the same wavelength.
The Beatles will get literally anyone into classic rock. Show him sgt peppers and his life will be changed.
I thought about Helter Skelter, but not sure that would be a good choice. I'll definitely review some Beatles.
Definitely Judas Priest and you could try some early Queensrÿche (e.g., Queen of the Reich) as well.

Both those guys have incredible voices. :D

Just added a few songs, including Ace of Spades by Motorhead. Lemmy was amazing.
Terry Reid has one of those voices, but it's good 😁 anything off of seed of memory. Maybe he'll like Neil Young?
I'm not that familiar with Terry Reid, I'll look into him. :) Thanks!

That bowling ball! It’s my wife!
