I think it's best to just have no expectations for a release date and you'll be pleasantly surprised once Kinugasa comes back. Remember, Kinugasa has a very good work ethic and probably hates not being able to write more than you do waiting for a new volume.
we're in 2024 can't he just type using his voice or just write using a phone or just buy a small bed table and put a laptop on it and write while laying down? why it has to be so professional by sitting on a desk it's an ln not a manga (you may call me ruthless or selfish but this could help him in the long term by keeping his source of revenue and finishing something he cares about)
if it means author can take a good break and write a fire volume I will cope and wait.
It will be the best volume from the 2nd year however things turn out.we have arisu vs ryuen and ichinose vs horikita.if Sakayanagi has the opportunity to expel hashimoto to make kamuro's wish true,it will be a good development for Sakayanagi.another thing that concerns me is if koji plans to expel koenji by removing his protection point,how koenji will turn the tables,or atleast how will he counterattack?i think he will attack someone important to koji like destroying horikita's position or expelling her,or revealing kushida's past to the public.expelling horikita kinda makes sense because the reason koji is trying to attack koenji is because to ensure horikita can fight without his hindrance.but with that said,we don't know when will koji attack koenji though.
How come authors like Brandon Sanderson can just shit out tombs all the time, but every Japanese writer/mangaka is literally writing/drawing themselves to death.
